"Oh!" Louie made a fist with his hand pressing it against his mouth, using his other hand to cup it, blowing air to make a duck noise. It'd been a talent of him that he'd learned early on in life always excited to find something else to gain money. "I used to do that every weekend when I was little. Would hold a hat out for people to give me money for my talents." Shrugging his shoulders he lifted up on his toes looking around the whole place. "I just need something relaxing but not necessarily super informative? Maybe about the different species?"
"On... ducks?" Casper repeated, unsure right off but they could always look. "I'm sure we have some PBS nature documentary or something," they hummed, making their way around the counter, silently reminding themself to walk rather than float, always a harder task when they were excited or distracted. Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot. "What are you wanting to learn about ducks? I don't know many duck facts, but I love how they quack!"

Louie was a fanatic of pizza like every connoisseur of food should be. That's what found him tasting, buying and devouring the pizza's that surrounded Evermore every weekend. So far he couldn't tell anyone his favorite but he was leaning towards Pizza Planet. Tonight though he'd decided to restart his taste testing because he just couldn't make his mind yet.
Sliding into the food area of Pizza Planet he tapped his fingers against the counter, leaning forward to look into the prepping area. "Could I talk to the pizza chef?"

Louie probably shouldn't be going to bother Dewey at his work place but it'd been a while since the brothers had gone on an adventure. Stealing one of the aprons from the backroom he settled on becoming a normal barista for just a couple of seconds. Following around the shop giving people their coffee before swooping in behind Dewey, wrapping a hand around his mouth and dragging him to the backroom.
"Stop struggling Dingus!" Louie huffed and puffed between words trying with all his strength to not drop his brother. "We're blowing this joint. It's time to do some exploring!"

Apples came in all types of colors and sizes from the juiciest to the tartest, not one of them bad. Except there was one apple above all that paled in comparison to the rest, an apple so known the world acclaimed it as delicious. Like many things it had it's moments, far and between but moments none the less. Louie wouldn't be fooled by it's shine and bright color, no. The worst of things, the deadliest of them came in bright colors that shined for all to see.
"Red Delicious should be banned from grocery stores." @seccndstar

Worst are those thoughts that settled deep into the bones in the dark of the night, allowing no escape. Louie didn't allow most things to bring him down but there were those small moments of doubt. They hooked him pulling him down to earth among the rest. Wind blew against the lapels of his suit making shivers as he entered the video store, hearing the bell ring behind him.
Looking up at the store worker, "Got any documentaries on ducks?"

"Hear me out," he slid right in front of Tiff, tie hanging loosely around his neck. Louie had clocked in and gone straight to see Tiff, choosing to not go home to change from his work attire. Louie just needed a fun, low energy afternoon out with a friend that had zero expectations about him. "I've been at work all day long. I'm very hungry. I'll pay and you choose the spot." @girlsngossip

Crackers always managed to save him on a bad day when he couldn't get out to go and have some lunch. Today though he'd been forced to go to a shop to get a price on the paint job for his car. Still cringing at the thought of what had happened a couple of days ago that made him need a paint job. Entering the shop with his box of crackers, he approached the first person he saw there. "Hey. I'm here to get an estimate done?" @theeglitch

Louie still remembered the last time something had brought him to the river. He could remember the soft feeling of grass under his hands as his legs glided across the water. Now everything had a layer of ice on top of it to it, what was once a lush field now was frozen. "Oh." Wasn't it funny how the same person can be seen twice in the exact same spot. "Serendipity," he whispered to himself.
"Hi. I wouldn't mind if Evermore froze over for a night.""
location: evermore woods.
starter for: @louiedx
"You're back!" Sylvie couldn't contain the excitement in her voice. A season had passed since she had last seen Louie. Now the river where they once sat together and admired the rain was now frozen over. Since their meeting the water fairy felt like a fool for not asking for his number sooner. Though she figured if they were meant to cross paths again they would, and it just so happened the stars were aligned for her today. "Louie!" Sylvie flashed a soft smile, hugging her jacket closer to her. "i'm afraid there won't be a rain show today, evermore might freeze over if I did."

Spectacular fell short in trying to explain everything he'd seen inside of the labs, still a little surprised and incredibly excited. If he managed to actually get them as a client it'd be easy to sell their stock, of that he was sure. Making them and the firm he worked for a lot of money to continue investing in more technology. Sucking on the cherry lollipop he'd been given at the front desk he sent a quick text to his boss.
"Shit," he said to himself, "even the lollipops taste great." @everythingice

Eyes wide in wonder at the thought of something more amazing than rain falling down on him at any moment she wanted. She'd taken the rain just as easily as she had brought it back that alone was a wonder. Sighing he thought of belonging elsewhere than Evermore, home to him had been this place since the start. Belonging elsewhere, being able to see elsewhere? That alone was a dream.
"Louie," he smiled, "well, Llewellyn but everyone calls me Louie. Please call me Louie."
louiedx:

Louie was almost shocked that someone had so easily done something that wasn’t part of the norm for everyone else, slightly pleased that it was done in front of him. Made him feel like he was special enough to share something like that a thing he didn’t always feel, being deemed the trouble maker of the family. Feeling the pleasant touch of rain falling on him as the air seemed to shift all over once more made him sigh peacefully, falling back onto the wet grass with a splash.
“Wow. You’re like your own personal cloud of rain whenever you want it,” he whispered in awe, “People that complain about rain don’t realize just how much it’s actually needed! Ever seen a field after a rain? It flourishes.”
Sylvie wasn’t sure why she became so nervous all of the sudden. Her cheeks flushing a pinky shade once her eyes settled on his expression. This wasn’t like her; to use her magic in front of strangers so recklessly. However, he had this sense of wonder about him. Maybe, he was trust worthy. Luckily she hadn’t had her wings out, didn’t want to frighten him too terribly.
“Something like that. If you think that’s cool you should’ve seen me back home-” Sylvie paused, the familiar ache pounded against her ribcage. Home. Taking in small breath she did her best to shove those feelings back down. Inching closer to take a seat beside him the wet grass. “I like the way you think, and ooh! Who could forget the rainbows that form after every storm?” She exclaimed excitedly as she looked over her shoulder at him. “I’m Sylvie, by the way.”

"I hate numbers," he mumbled to himself, glaring at the screen of his laptop. Five cups of coffee lay in front of him which was weird because he was inside of the ice cream parlor. He'd had some rainbow sorbet a couple of hours ago as he groaned at having to work after hours. "Money this. Money that. When is it my turn to money?"

"Bros date! Bros date! Wait. Girls date? Date night? Bestie date night?" Hooking an arm around her neck to drag him into his side, lifting a hand towards the festival. "Whatever but see all of this. It's ours for the taking! All the food, sweets and prices we can get at the tip of our fingers." Louie could charm half of the vendors and Tiff could charm the other half, it was a smart plan. That way they could save money and have a good time, but just in case he had some cash in his wallet from his soda booth. @girlsngossip

"Dewdrop!" Louie jumped onto the back of his brother sliding a duck hat he'd won at a booth. Originally he had planned to give it to Huey as a means to annoy the oldest of the three, but he hadn't seen anywhere. Actually if he really thought about it he hadn't seen him in a while, but then again Louie was way too focused on his business ventures to pay attention. "Look what I won for my favorite older brother." @quacksblue

"Soda pop. Soda pop. Come get your soda pop! Special cups for thirty and you wont have to pay for soda for the rest of the festival! Soda soda! 3 dollars a cup! Come get your soda pop!" he called out excitedly to the masses. Exchanging cash between between people as more came for the soda. Louie might not be a hard worker for most things but for soda? He'd spent meticulous hours creating different flavors that he could market quickly for the festival. Excited to get cash and sell soda.
"I'm taking my break!" he called out, taking off the apron around his waste and walking out with a soda.

“now now they might just be a personality hire,” he teased,” at the end of the day isn’t it more about the followers and the people they can reach? the broader their range the better the views.” laughing at her expression and noises over someone wearing crocs knowing that in the comfort of his own home he wasn’t above such a thing. although there was a certain image he enjoyed maintaining he didn’t think it went that far for him, no one has to see that side of him.
“small. independent but willing to pay for the exposure.” tapping his fingers against the side of his drink smiling at the excitement, wouldn’t it be easy to explore that some more. someone so willing to collaborate was always something that louie enjoyed, specially if they weren’t annoying. “i’m glad you’re so ready for this because it’ll involve making quite a few people truly believe something is going on with us.”
louiedx:
eyes narrowing as he started at the outfits of the people around them almost confused as to how that could affect them. sure he knew a thing or two about dressing to impress but words and charisma where what had gotten him to where he was. well, that and lies. after all people had to bend the truth a little if someone wanted to climb to the top. wealth wasn’t made in good wishes and good thoughts, no. “you can dress your best and still be a bitch, though. being a bitch? that wont help you make moves.”
smirking slightly as his eyes moved across the expanse of her body in silent appraisal, nodding his head. she’ll look besides me. “there’s a clothing line that would like to do a couple of photoshoots of us wearing their clothes,” he nodded, reiterating what she already knew. “they’ll also be giving us a couple of pieces for us to be seen outside with them, together. whether that’s at the local club or the fancy new restaurant in town.”
.
“okay, but like…would you even consider hiring someone who’d walk into an interview in like…khakis and a graphic tee and like…flip flops? or worse, crocs?” she makes a gagging noise at it, eyeing the other expectantly as she takes a sip of her drink. sure, charisma and knowing how to schmoose over the competition was important, but looks were just as important, and taura was pretty set in her beliefs in general, but this one thing especially.
she’s sat up straight, eyes wide with excitement as she nods along, eagerly beginning to type out the details on her phone, squealing out in her excitement of it all, ugh, this is what she was meant to do for all her life. “which clothing line? did they see the photoshoot i did last year for fabletics? i wonder what their thoughts on that were…oh my god, shut up, yes! i think you’ll look, like…absolutely perfect on my arm, i’ve been needing a nice little pick me up lately and what better way then free clothes and being seen out with a pretty face? it’ll be perfect. when were they thinking of having us? so i can like, plan and all? it takes time to look this good.”
