my anxiety issues and whining aside, i’m really happy to get back into writing and the if world. it seems like there’s so many new games out lately!! i don’t know what to try first or what to catch up on 👀 so if you have any suggestions....

Arthur/Aria Ashbluff, a people-pleaser mixed with a warm heart, is the perfect actor for the counterpart lead in a movie that ends in the happiest way of all. Many would categorize them as a golden retriever, always filled with energy and a happy aura. They walked through those stage doors, immediately greeting everybody with respect and smiles on their face.

General appearance (can be changed): Tanned skin with freckles dusting over their nose. They have stormy blue upturned eyes and a diamond-shaped jaw. Arthur stands at 6’4 with dirty blonde hair that falls in front of his face and ends at the nape of his neck. Aria stands at 6’0 with chopped layers that end at her chest.

You swore they were throwing daggers at you through the whole reading of the script. The directors say they can feel a connection brewing beneath their harsh exterior, but you can't seem to spot it.

General appearance (can be changed): Pale skin and a scar running down their eyebrow. They have light brown monolid eyes and a sharpened heart-shaped jaw. Both Corin and Carrie have black shoulder-length, undercut mullets. One of the differences would be Corin standing at 6’2 and Carrie at 5’10.

Whoever’s blood you consume connects you to their psyche, their soul. A consequence that may bring opportunity and harm depending on how you play it.

Be careful when deciding whose blood to use when in perilous danger. There may be a long-term impact from being too reliant on a specific person’s soul.

Customize your protagonist: name, gender, personality, body type, facial appearance, region of origin, tattoos and marks, former career, and more!

Choose the core emotion of your psyche: sadness, anger, fear, joy, or apathy.

Nine ROs: a regretful romantic, a shy visionary, a stern leader, a conflicted protector, a dutiful soldier, a lively wildcard, a soft-hearted hot-head, a curious tinkerer, and a lost soul.

Minor Romances: Other characters who may have an attraction towards you but, for one reason or another, will not manifest into fully committed long-term partners. Their feelings, however, may persist alongside the development of your official relationship - a troublesome predicament for some and a challenge for others.

Determine your allegiance to the CARDINALS, the HAWKS, neither, or both.

Tailor your personality! Are you a stoic optimist that’s shy yet eager to protect your friends? Or are you an honest loner with a cruel streak that’s known for their humility? Whatever feels true to you!

hi anon! thank you for asking!! i'm sure a few of you have been wondering if i'm alive 😅 tbh i've been wondering if i'm alive too these past few months.

long story short: lost lambs is absolutely not abandoned! this semester of nursing just kicked my ass and then some, so i've been trying to recuperate.

short story long: i had health crisis after health crisis this fall hence the radio silence. but i am most definitely alive (i think) and want to hijack this ask to say - Please take care of yourselves!! whether that's in mind or body or spirit or treating yourself to something nice, please be kind to yourselves and take care this winter 🖤

The Semi-Important Announcement

Hi everyone long time no see! I thought it’d been only two weeks but then I blinked and it was almost two months. Did not mean for that to happen. But I’m back (for now until life gets in the way again) and with a semi, somewhat, sort of  important announcement.

I’ve decided to “revamp” the setting of Lost Lambs! This probably isn’t too surprising if you’ve seen my other posts where I’m whining about history being history lol. So, I’ll be changing the setting from the real world to a realistic fictional world. Nothing too crazy or drastic. Just something that would save me a lot of unnecessary stress and a lot of time.  Long story short/tldr - what would this actually change?

Almost nothing! Other than a little worldbuilding and edits to the current demo, the overall plot wouldn’t change at all. The setting would just go from actual Gilded Age/Edwardian era to a world inspired by said eras instead (which is basically what it already was but this time with more creative freedom.)

Under the cut is some more rambling and an explanation behind this decision if anyone is curious.

Lost Lambs was never supposed to be super historically accurate and I’ve said that before so no one expects it but it’s been bothering me more than I expected. The more I write the more it bothers me and then the less I actually want to write. It got to the point where I’d write dialogue and every five seconds I’d stop to ask myself: “Oh no, is this accurate? Is this too out place?” Then I’d go down a rabbit hole of research and all my excitement would be drained by the end because I’d overwhelm myself. I’m sure a better, more experienced writer could’ve handled this but as an amateur who is doing this for fun, it was sapping away exactly that – the fun.

I tried to stick it out, but if it’s getting in the way of actually finishing anything - I’d rather make a world of my own where I can have as much fun with the setting as I want. The new setting won’t be anything too out there. It’ll still be inspired by the American East Coast but any references to real world locations will be scrapped. This is going to be Jaymee’s Earth: Jarth (this is a placeholder joke name).

I’ll have the updated demo ready and posted in October plus the beginning part of Chapter Two! I wanted to post Ch 2 in its entirety because I feel bad that it’s been a whole year since Ch 1 dropped. But since I have to rewrite almost all the dialogue I don’t think it’ll be completely finished until the end of the year 😅Again, thank you all for reading and sticking with me! I say this all the time but I really appreciate each and every like/ask/comment and all the quiet, subtle support. It means the world to me as someone who has always wanted to share my writing but has never had the opportunity to do so. Much love and thank yous!! 🖤🖤🖤

I know it’s not the 9th in most places in the world, but it is in some! And I’m impatient 😆✨ anyway—one year! Isn’t that amazing? Time flies when you’re having fun 😅 Thank you all for giving me such a warm welcome to all this 💖 without your support and kindness, this would have remained a small little writing exercise 😳

happy pride month everyone! (she says 15 days later) 

my pride month started with a good ole existential crisis because oh my god where did the time go?! hard to believe i started this blog a whole year ago already! insane. i blinked and it was 2022.

so in preparation for the Very Long Much Overdue Update, i’m going to be updating the current demo a bit (adding customization, missing info like the guest list) and i’m also going to fix my navigation which I KEEP saying i will and then never do 😭 (what can i say? this past year of uni really came for my life) i also have a faq to post and some ancient asks to answer 🖤 thank you again for sticking with lost lambs!
