Was making bells hells portraits for the end of the campaign but the new project demons ate my motivation

Based on Judith Slaying Holofernes, I love this painting and it’s on my midterm study list so I’ve been thinking about it a lot (made this instead of studying for said midterm)

Anyway jourrael is kinda a girlboss ngl im sad she didn’t show up more (ik she’s supposed to be evil and very bad and all that but slay lowkey)

It was my sanity project around quarantine oh boy did I spend a lot of time on it, my digital art wasn’t the best in 2021 when it was started but I worked hard on it regardless

It definitely has its flaws, I started work on a new one that’s around 80% done years ago and I keep not finishing it and it’s already outdated so that doesn’t help me wanting to finish it lol, but who knows

I use one brush for litterally everything (unless I’m feeling funky like once a month I’ll mess with a different textured brush, usually a random default brush)

It’s a modified 6b pencil from default procreate brushes

To make it just take the 6b pencil and go to properties and crank the max size all the way, and then go to shape and change the shape source in the source library to “ink sponge”

Made this when I first started with procreate, haven’t changed it since.

to add texture to my coloring I simply crank up the size and lightly drag my pencil across a selected area in a different color.
