In the past, the ancients would climb the peak now known as Mt. Yougou and bend wood that had been charred by lightning into a hook to offer as an effigy unto the thundering force that lit up the skies and shook the earth. This shape would eventually become the "Electro Mitsudomoe" symbol, symbolizing the favor, wisdom, and might of Electro, and also the people who represent these values.

All demons who wander in the wilderness or live amongst mortals will be attracted by the sight of the Almighty Narukami Ogosho, represented by the Electro Mitsudomoe. Though their lives may be longer than any creature, they will at last come to their end. If those with limited lifespans hanker after eternity, then they can only pray that "Eternity" remembers them. And she did indeed answer their prayers, remembering them all, friend and foe alike, in her heart. No matter whether it was the demon owls who resided amidst the fog and ripped through the skies, the bake-danuki who dared to trespass her imperial gardens, or that female oni, lovely as the moon and mighty in battle, yet who would eventually come to blows with her... Whether it was the tengu who soared on dark wings or the Kitsune Saiguu who once walked by her side, but who eventually disappeared forever... These countless tales have come to rest within her heart, and someday, they will surely shine again in the eternal paradise of her dreams.

In A Drunkard's Tale (III), which makes reference to the Seelies and the wasteland "beyond the dominion of the deities," the original Chinese text is clearer that "deities" refers to The Seven, while "gods" refers to gods who preceded The Seven.

The confluence between the past and future.
The original calamity had been overturned, yet the island in the sky set the earth to burn. Chalk pursues gold, in this time inopportune, the eclipse is swallowed by the crimson moon. The future must atone for bygone mistakes, as the bond familiar falters and breaks— of the same blood, elders and the youth... Such is the cycle of the world, in truth. Dain, what is that strand of blonde hair to you? Someone you must kill? Or the object of your penitence?

The Wanderer's Troupe was founded during the reign of the Aristocracy.
Many referred to it as the Swordsman's Troupe — some out of hope, others out of fear.
Even poems and songs were denied the right to freedom in that era.
For flutes they had swords, for harps they had bows, and their song was an anthem of rebellion.
Their final act was an attempt to storm the city and impose the death sentence upon its tyrannical rulers.
The Swordsman's Troupe had gone, and with it the memory of their rebellion.
But the spirit of resistance they embodied will always flow in Mondstadters' veins.

I'm a guard sent from the Yashiro Commission here to look after the event venue. Naturally, I'm worried about the safety of this place. Festivals and Fireworks Shows here are always popular and packed with people, but that means that problems and incidents can also arise quite easily. The Yashiro Commission needs to keep an eye on all sorts of things, from venue maintenance to fire hazard prevention with regard to flammable items. Erm... It's very hard to manage events where there are so many people. It would honestly be a huge headache for the Yashiro Commission if our manager's wish came true and everyone in Teyvat came to Inazuma to watch the fireworks...

divine envoy era.
The earth is covered by raw elements — unending ice, flames, and the like. Envoys of the gods made the earth more hospitable for humanity and dwelled among them, while humans could communicate with Celestia directly. The white Irminsul trees, connected to the ley lines in the earth, held great importance in the religious rituals of these ancient civilizations.
official description of domains.
It is said that glorious civilizations once covered every corner of the land, above and below ground, in days of yore. Those once-glorious civilizations have long perished, and all that remains of them today is the cities and altars they built deep underground.
The Irminsul is a type of silver-white tree whose roots stretch down into the Abyss and who are connected to the Ley Lines of the world.
Doors of resurrection are gateways to life found in Domains. Said to be formed from the root tips of a tree that permeates the entire world.
It is said that the roots of all the Petrified Trees (found in domains) in the world are intertwined at the deepest, most hidden place in the earth, and that the pattern the root system makes defines the ley lines of the world.
The Frostbearing Tree in Sal Vindagnyr is a notable Irminsul Tree.
Dainsleif is titled the "Bough Keeper" (Chinese: 拾枝者 Shízhī-zhě, "Bough Picker") in-game and in the trailers.
"Bough" is a likely reference to boughs and branches of Irminsul, the Tree of Ley Lines, which are containers of travel experiences of the time-flourished world. Dainsleif is rich in experiences and memories throughout his life of "picking and keeping boughs."

The Raiden Gokaden (雷電五箇伝 "Five Traditions of Raiden") were five schools in Inazuma's weaponsmithing scene.
Amenoma (天目) Isshin (一心) Kyoushin (経津) Doume (百目) Senju (千手)
According to legend, the Raiden Gokaden were developed when a ronin taught his five disciples the art of forging. Each art then developed their own techniques and secrets.

But alas, his "heart" was far too slow.
For this was a world without elements,
And thus swordsmanship could not be imbued with them.
Swordsmanship was thus a question of pure physical skill and not elemental control.
The sword is an extension of one's body, and one uses it as an arm would command the fingers, or as one's heart directs the eyes.
Though he was skilled indeed in the art of the swift blade, the village chief never understood the value of the "heart," and so he fell to a single stroke.

And not even that remained, for this was a world without spirits.
This world possessed no elemental power,
And so, the memories of the dead could not remain in the mortal realm via elemental resonance.

In old Mondstadt, spear arts were forbidden by the nobility. Ostensibly, they claimed that only the sword was worthy of noble stock, But they say that in reality, it was because the length of polearms could bridge the gaps in training, Which might grant the unarmed and unschooled commoners a weapon with which to resist.

The library was formerly a bathhouse created by the aristocracy for their personal use, and Ragnvindr converted it into a library after Vennessa's rebellion. At one point, it was the largest library in northern Teyvat, but was reduced to one-sixth of its original size following the "Great Fire of Fall Equinox." It is unclear whether the rest of the headquarters was converted from the aristocrats' baths, or if it was built following the Great Fire of Fall Equinox.
