This has probably already been talked about ages ago but I'm rewatching this scene for the millionth time and.

Steve when Robin's talking about Click's class:

Steve when Robin says, "I sat behind you--"

Just. The slow, dawning realisation that he could've known Robin so much sooner. The realisation that he spent a year sitting in front of her and never noticed, or cared to notice.

He doesn't just look sad, he looks devastated. Crushed beyond belief to realise that she'd been in his orbit all this time and he'd never seen her.

If only he'd turned around. If only he'd cared to notice things beyond himself back then.

A bitter joke from the universe. To let him finally see her as they both think they're going to die.

Anyways, the people who have scrubbed the queerness out of history win when queer people put up their hands in defeat. When we act like we have nothing to do with the preservation and learning of queer history, we are falling into a trap that was built to slowly erode our connection to our past.

It's frustrating to see people act because queer history isn't easy to access, and there is nothing they can do. Because so so many people have spent their lives, have ruined their academic reputations, and worked tirelessly to put this information out there. Sure, it's not in every high school textbook yet, but it is reaching out waiting for you to meet it halfway. It's worth the work, I promise.

If the business is allowed to have personal financial gain as the main goal, then so are the employees.

If the business was a worker coop, then helping each other make a profit instead of focusing on your own pay would be the goal. But if the business is not required to care about the well being of the employees, then the employees should not be required to care about the well being of the business.

If the business can replace an employee and leave them for dead when the employee stops being profitable, then an employee can quit a job and leave the business for dead when they get a better offer.
