i see. let's take this from the top, i guess.

alright class, listen up.

so first up, we have a call for us to die. nice of you to start off with that, moonvevo, instead of keeping us waiting for it. and for what? stating that sysmedicalism hurts all systems, similar to how transmedicalism hurts all trans people?

that seems a little over the top, don't you think?

next, moonvevo claims it is transmisogynistic to compare sysmedicalism to transmedicalism. let me explain why we believe that they are the same issue, rebranded and reflavoured for plurality instead of gender.

you know how transmeds don't want any of those eeeeevil nonbinary people to exist? and heavily complicate manners for even heavily dysphoric trans people, the very people they intend to "protect" from... what, exactly? the horrible, no good enbies "stealing" their T and E, when they're not """real""" trans people? (in case it is not clear: we do not support these views.)

sysmeds don't want non-traumagenic systems to exist, because they're scared those evil, no-good endos make plurality a commodity. as though there being more awareness about plurality that isn't movies like Split or The Crowded Room is a bad thing. sysmeds want only DID/OSDD systems to be considered systems, claiming there's only one way to be a system. this is factually untrue.

even in just systems officially diagnosed with DID, there is an incredibly diverse experience. some DID systems have hardly any amnesia, some can hardly remember the past ten minutes. there could be set roles for system members, such as a set protector, persecutor, host, et cetera... or there could be no roles, no host, no need for them.

all that we're saying is both sysmeds and transmeds hurt the people they claim to support, by not accepting that people are what they say they are.

of course there are people that fake for attention. however, those are in *every* community. you can't lock down a community to keep all possible fakers out- people are just assholes sometimes.

also, note the use of transmisogynist over transphobe, as if only trans women are hurt by transmeds. interesting how you completely disregard transmasculine people, moonvevo. perhaps you care not for men, but it's quite common for people to disregard this set of people.

moonvevo begins their final sentence with a call for us to smarten up, and to stop hating trans women. very interesting how you once again leave transmasc people out of this, moonvevo. very interesting.

finally, they choose to call us TERFs as a form of gotcha. this is just... factually untrue.

a TERF is a specific intersection of transphobia and radical feminism. we partake in neither of these.

repeat after me, class: not everyone you disagree with is a TERF.

we are violently anti-radfems, and violently pro-trans. equality does not mean you now get to oppress your oppressor, it means you are equal.
