Wishing for more 'team as family' stuff for loonatics. Shipping doesn't really appeal to me and while it seems to have the standard fandom level of shipping stuff the loonatics fandom is so small especially compared to some of my other fandoms its hard to find what im wanting 😭 Like I reread a fic from like 2006 (i think, was round there ish) of the team forming and it had the whole team (Duck to a much lesser degree) look at Rev and go "Is anyone gonna older brother this guy?" and then not wait for an answer. Thats what i want!I want Rev to be the sweet sunshine little bro (especially since he grew up as the older brother, now he got a whole team of older sibs) who's determined to help but if you dare hurt him you're gonna get it. And him fretting over and worrying for his family (especially if you take an idea about them all getting better with powers overtime leading to my headcanon that his gps gets upgrade to let him essentially sense life force so littlest bros gonna know if youre sick and will talk your ear off till you sit down and rest.

Gimme Lexi loving her bros and enjoying messing with them but good at stepping in should they start to tussle. Like the sort of stuff i saw give her such tasty 'supportive older sister' vibes to Rev and i love that for her, shes one who will step back and keep an eye on you, giving you space and will leap in the moment you need help.

I want Duck to be the annoying brother that gets on everyones nerves but they ultimately love him and if a team mate is hit but something far too 'simple and low' for a hero that they cant really do anything about or they dont know anything about he gets a bit frantic, theyre heros they can deal with villian stuff theyre not ment to fall to such a simple thing.

Tech as one of the eldest whos often so done with his sibs, and oft rolls his eyes due to them but he will not hesitate if you do anything for them. He tries hard to be 'the serious responsible family member' but lets be real hes gonna get pulled into the shenanigans

Slam being down for whatever his sibs are planning, the bro who goes with the flow. I also feel hes good at listening, not necessarily getting all they're saying. ie techno babble from tech or an excited rambling info dump from Rev. But hes happy to make them feel listened to and let them get out all that words energy

And Ace, he may or may not be the eldest but takes on the oldest sibling role, keeping an eye on everyone being the shoulder they can cry on, and whiles hes to in the leader mindset theyd do it for him to.

They're the siblings who will one moment be bashing and butting heads but they click into great sync.

Either it be a thing that forms the longer they work together or even an au where the meteor strike happens when theyre kids or young teens and Zadavia ends up raising superpowered kiddos (gee Rev i can believe they let you have two families)

Sometimes I get a bit sad when someone forcibly makes Rev shut up. He’s so excited to say things or share his knowledge and everyone just gets annoyed at him and there are plenty of moments where he looks so sad or disappointed. My guy just wants to info dump.

Adding to that I think Ace and Lexi should've swapped color palettes too. Make Lexi's costume yellow but her civilian fur gray and white and Ace has yellow fur & is the pink one solely due to the hilarity of the badass leader having the color associated with the token girl.

Karaoke Nights

When your an intergalactic force fighting against superpowered crooks or inter-dimensional mutants or robots, you still find times to unwind and have fun. And for the Loonatics, sometimes there’s karaoke nights!

The tics sing or at least dance to varieties, some funny, some good songs, some extremely bad and cringy ones, Duck danced to some weird dance music which had probably the most cringiest music video ever. Slam tried to sing some song but all he blurted out were his basic gibberish, but the team didn’t care and laughed it up. Outta fun Ace and Lexi sang to a romantic song together, she danced like some ballerina all throughout while Ace performed martial art poses with her movement. Rev sang some superfast nightcore song and Slam could not stop laughing all throughout and Tech, while not much the singer type chose the music for the team. Feels good for a superhero team to have some fun and time off, especially karaoke nights

Little loonatics things/self care

Lexi wears custom ear protectors and those special migraine headwraps because her super hearing makes her prone to loud noises

Ace uses eye drops his favorite is Visine. He also loves dimly lit rooms as his eyes cannot take bright light

Rev learned meditation from Ace and uses it as a coping mechanism

Everyone sheds fur/feather during winter so they take prenatal, biotin and keratin vitamins to lessen its effects

Slam stretches and does yoga as spinning at his speed involves a lot of flexibility and endurance.

SELF CARE DAYS led by Danger and Lexi! We're talking cucumber/aloe eye masks, gold mud masks

Danger goes swimming a lot because he cannot be away from water and needs a way to exercise on natural instincts

Everyone is careful with bringing grapes & chocolate/flavored foods because Tech can get poisoned from those foods (being a canine and all)

Lexi dislikes carrots, also she wears her ears bc she is actually a flop eared rabbit but they get in her face

Tech took great care to add rubber into their suits to ward off strong electricity especially for Slam

On day offs there's a quiet hour where everyone read books, paint, meditate or stretch. No loud bombastic music or shows. Zadavia participates in it too

Ace also wears cold headwraps because his heat vision leaves him prone to headaches; same with Tech

Slam takes a lot of Vitamin C and ginger to keep from nausea. He may be a Tasmanian devil but he isn't immune to dizziness

Everyone has a journal to write down their emotions if they're particularly frustrated (suggested by Mikayla)

Episode idea

Everyone wakes up one morning to find that Duck has added sponsor logos to all their suits. Like they’re covered in them. And they don’t have time to remove them before they have to go out on a mission and either Duck interrupts them multiple time while fighting with by trying to do a product advertisement, or the logos on their suits project holographic ads that get in the way. bad guys get away because of that, and everyone is pissed at duck. I’ll let you guys imagine what’s next.

If there’s a box Duck will stand on it.

If they are walking as a group duck will fall behind,

At first they would wait for him, now duck will teleport to keep up

Or get picked up by one of the others, most commonly by Slam. Second most commonly by Rev

When the teams especially annoyed by Duck they place things on the highest shelf, granted this isn’t so effective when he can teleport but the message is still there

There’s  a competition for the most creative shot joke, Ace is Winning 

If there’s a beam or something like that Duck will make a big deal of being the only one who can go under without needing to duck (heh)

Was given a Childrens menu at a restaurant (this has happened to me before, I was 18 and they thought I was 12)

Very annoyed that Rev is the youngest and tallest

Rev uses Duck as an armrest purely to joke about his height.

Duck will threaten your knee caps

Tech gave him stilts for April fools once (nothing was wrong with them. It was just a jab at his height)

One Duck released they were safe he refused to take them off for two weeks.

Lexi once bought him a whole bunch of new clothes entirely picked from the kids section without him noticing.

Even though Duck gets annoyed at the short jokes he secretly likes them because it reminds him that the team are a family love each other enough to know exactly how to get under each other’s skin.

And duck’s plenty willing to teases them right back.
