hi, guys! sooo, during the last couple of months i've been venturing into the world of bookbinding - and what a journey it has been! this is my very first attempt at fanfic-binding and of course i just had to try my luck with the one and only 'all the young dudes' by misskingbean89. truly a 'fanfic classic' (harhar) and a masterpiece!! even though these babies are faaaaar from perfect (i'm sure i made every single mistake possible WHILE watching countless tutorials and still getting it wrong, lol) and i'm so very in love with them and can't wait to gift them to my friend who is even more obsessed with 'all the young dudes' than i am. 🥹 as you can see, the most beautiful thing about them is - of course - the gorgeous cover art for the dust jackets, made by alex (@i-like-to-look-at-your-back), who has been an absolute legend for allowing me to use her works for my copies. here are the links to the cover-art of book one, two and three. i literally ADORE them so much, so make sure to take a look at her blog and give her a follow. if you take the dust jackets off, there's a wrap-around cover made of matte photo-paper. i got the digital download for them on etsy and i really love how those turned out as well. can't wait to see where the next bind takes me, heheh. until then: remember to keep fanfic fun and free and legal, nobody should earn money with it, especially not the people who are trying to rip you off and sell you shitty copies for 200$ on etsy or amazon. bookbinding is a a wonderful and fun hobby, that doesn't have to be expensive at all. alright. those are my two cents, i'll shut up now. <3 bye, guys! 🤠🫶🏼
