I've had a fixation on cannibalism and autocannibalism since I was 6 or 7 and, for organizations sake, I'm using this sideblog for exclusively cannibalism related things so I don't overly clog my main since I already have so many interests. |Born in 2004| Trigger warnings for anything related to cannibalism including gore. !I DO NOT PRACTICE NOR CONDONE ILLEGAL ACTIVITY RELATED TO CANNIBALISM!

i didnt realise i was an autocannibal until i started following this blog a while ago. I chew my nails (only my hand ones) and bite them off to trim them, and sometimes i swallow the clippings I bit off. I’ll eat scabs that i pick off and if I’m bleeding I’ll lick my finger to wipe it and then lick the blood off my finger. I didn’t realise it was a thing. I don’t know how i feel about it.

I want to taste my own flesh, just once. My ex-partner ate a tiny part of me once. I want to reclaim that. Plus I'm curious. Even though I'm vegan.

maybe this is a fucked up thought process but like, WHY exactly is the act of cannibalism itself "morally wrong"?
like. obviously the act of murder (how the meat would normally be obtained) is usually not a great thing morally.. but why is the consumption of human meat a moral failing to most people?
even when posed as a necessary action to survive, a lot of people bristle up like frightened cats at the thought of eating a person over an animal
maybe this is a problem with ME but in a survival situation i'd feel worse hunting an animal for food than my ""fellow man""
i can't think of.. HOW exactly, but say the meat was ethically sourced. is it still wrong to eat? WHY is it wrong to eat? just because most people see animals as "inferior" to people, that makes it okay to eat them, and not people?
(not to sound like the vegan teacher here, i just scarfed down a cheeseburger. im just saying!)
speaking of the vegan teacher, one final thing (that many people have brought up):
would ethically sourced human meat be vegan? i mean, it's not exactly an animal product. but at the same time, you COULD make a case FOR it being an animal product of some sort if you consider humans animals??
anyways! just some food for thought <3 (hah)

Isn't it ridiculous how when you get a body part surgically removed they don't let you keep it?
I'm planning on getting an orchiectomy and I don't want to preserve them or anything like that, they've brought me nothing worth celebrating.
I'm also the cook for my house. Sooooo.....
What if I thinly sliced and sauted my own testicles? How would they taste? What seasonings would be best to use?

Auto-cannibalism
Auto-cannibalism describes the practice of eating oneself.
As this behavior is out of the norm and considered odd, it falls under queer behaviors.

I want to crack open my skull and pry out my brain. It'll be just like the walnuts I smashed on the sidewalk as a child. Only this time let me be the nutcracker, let me feel the bone splinter and blood spurt between my teeth. I want to break bread with myself, once and for all, and this time I want to be the bread that's broken. Tear my flesh into bite sized pieces and eat them dipped in oil. Better yet, I'll chew them up just so I can spit myself out again and mold the bloody mass like clay. I want to bake this bread, my body, and start my life anew. Let me be a creature forged in its own fire and formed by its own hand.

I think that if I experienced another significantly traumatic event in my life and had a bad enough mental breakdown, I'd commit a more significant act of autocannibalism than consuming my own blood or scabs or finger skin. I genuinely believe it is something I'd do in a desperate act of poor coping if I was not in my right mind.

TW Cannibalism
I want to see an immortal whumpee with regeneration being used as a food source for a group of people during the apocalypse. They are able to grow plants, but they have no space or time for farm animals. And the residents of this bunker need to get in that iron in somehow.
Better yet, Whumpee also gets fed pieces of themselves. After all, if they aren’t eating a well balanced meal, their meat won’t be as good. And we can’t have that.

I think that theoretically you could make an argument that cannibalism is morally vegan.
I know that sounds batshit, but hear me out. People are vegan for a lot of different reasons. Sometimes it’s just a diet with no ideology other than health or preference. In this situation ofc cannibalism is not vegan, because humans are meat.
However, oftentimes I hear a moral reasoning attached. That reason often being that animals can’t consent to being killed and eaten. In that case, a human would be able to consent to it, right?
So in a hypothetical situation where an adult human is 100% psychologically sound and capable of consenting to being eaten and/or killed and eaten (not debating the logistics of whether someone CAN be classed as stable psychologically while wanting to be killed and eaten. In this hypothetical, we’re saying that it’s possible), that moral reasoning is no longer applicable.
So in this very specific situation, I think that cannibalism is morally vegan. Auto cannibalism is an even easier argument for being morally vegan.
That being said, I’m not saying that cannibalism is good or anything. It’s also functionally, obviously, NOT vegan. I just think about stuff a lot and this is the conclusion that I can’t find a logic based argument against.
