A smile,
Given by what once
Was a stranger.
A hand,
Reached out as a kind act
Given by a friend to another.
A voice,
Said to the listener
Given as a sincere advice.
An honest Love,
Given both ways.
Like a pendulum,
Responding to each other's
Love.
A lifetime of us,
An honour given by the One,
To you
To me.
To love.
To grow.
For our deen.

Lost
The being I was.
The soul living in me
Has passed.
Time to rest.

Echoes
Echoes,
In a distance,
Heard,
From afar.
An old light,
Forgotten,
Seen once more.
An old life,
Missed.
A past,
After 3.
Much have changed,
Except the old soul
Lies beneath.
May you be granted,
Happiness with the new(old).
Joy with the future.
Love-
S-howered to you.

My love,
Thank you,
For all the love you've given me.
For the patience you've showed,
With all the flaws I have.
Thank you,
For being here with me.
Thank you,
For accepting me -the uncertainity I am.
From now on,
I'll save,
Work,
Give my best.
For a step closer,
To be yours forever.

Let go and let god.
At times,
I told myself to "let go and let god".
I am nothing but a confused soul,
Searching for what once resides in this old
Heart of mine.
Maybe passion - can be found,
Buried in something new.
An old flame from history,
To be ignited by
A new candle untouched and unexplored.
Truth is,
To teach is to love,
And to love is to have passion.
Maybe love is all we need,
To ignite the passion from within.
Love -
Makes me feel alive.

A world.
There was once a world,
I would go to
alone in the dark,
with twinkles in the sky.
But that world of mine,
Was the peace I had,
So long forgotten ,
A world once reside by one,
now empty.

RESTricted
restricted
a word played by many,
while there’s rest,
there is also a strict
rule to abide,
hardly breathing ,
I crave for freedom,
A sense of solitude,
I had ,
A long time
ago.
But that was a tale ,
of Singularity ,
Maybe a part of me
miss the moments
I had with - me.

Tied.
A deal,
Printed.
Handshakes,
In agreement.
A bond,
Tied between two.
An oath,
Made to fulfill,
Till one
Breaks (down)
The promises made.
A cascade
Of events.
Leading to
Sepa----ration.

Mind and Heart
The mind and the heart
Bridged by the senses
The mouth, the nose the eyes
and the ears.
The mind and the heart
An everlasting war between
The logic and the emotions
The common sense and the gut feeling
The right and the rightfully wrong
Sometimes the mind won -
Weaponed with thoughts
Sharp truths weakening the soul.
Other times the heart is undefeated
Protected by a strong armour
Around it, in denial of the
Turmoil, preventing the feelings
From bleeding through
The war between the mind and the heart,
Buried deep in each individual
A never ending war,
Only to end when one
Makes peace within them.

Why I love you.
In this world, there are men who have the money,
Sweet words – never amiss,
Good looks and gifts of plenty.
Promises made after promises.
There are men who would shower you
With flowers and romance,
Dates with the beau.
There are those who would give you
The physical touch - an intimacy,
And poetic words in literacy.
But the reason why I love you,
Is the good in you.
It was your kindness to others,
That I’ve started to fall for the acts
You’ve shown to your sisters and brothers.
It was your goodwill for those who need,
That I’ve started to feel at ease,
Planted the seed
Of the love tree that grows within me.
It was your filial affection to your parents
That radiates me with the warmth of your love.
It was your gracious acts, your caring soul.
It was the good in you,
Living up to your name,
That made me fall in love with you.
And falling in love in you made me fall
for everything about you.

Solitude.
I used to believe that being alone in an empty room is a form of solitude.
Just like how people seek solitude in the mountains - meditating every hour.
I used to think that solitude is all about living alone – to isolate, to seclude.
To be on my own, to find myself, to search, to scour.
But solitude can be found in the oddest places,
When comfort is felt and when it feels like home
Solitude between two - in warm embraces,
For solitude doesn’t have to be all alone.
