Before the war, we lived a simple but happy life in Gaza. Our home in Shujaiya wasn’t big or luxurious, but it was filled with peace, love, and comfort. We had our own land — a small garden where we planted vegetables, a roof where we sat on warm evenings drinking tea, laughing as a family. Our kids went to school every day with joy, dreaming about their future. We had work. We had neighbors we trusted. We had routines, family dinners, birthdays, laughter. Life wasn’t perfect, but it was ours. It was full of meaning.

The bombing started, and we had to flee our home during the first week of the war. We left everything behind — not knowing it would be the last time we would see our home standing. We first went to Rimal, hoping to be safer. That’s where we heard the news: our home, the place we built with love and hard work, was destroyed. Flattened. Just like that — gone. Everything we owned, everything we saved for, was buried under rubble.

After that, we kept running. From Rimal to Al-Zawaida. Then to Rafah. We’ve been displaced four times. Each time we carry less with us, but more pain. We sleep on floors. Sometimes there’s no roof. Sometimes we stay in tents. The nights are cold, the days are burning hot. There is no electricity, no clean water, no toilets, no privacy. We wait hours just to get a piece of bread. We lost our jobs, our income. We lost our safety, our dignity. We live in fear every day — fear of the next bomb, the next loss.

We used to dream of the future. Now, we just dream of surviving the next day.

We are the Anas family — like many families in Gaza — ordinary people who only wanted peace, a safe home, and a chance to live in dignity. But the war has taken everything from us: our home, our land, our jobs, our dreams, our stability… even our sleep.

It’s hard to write this. It's hard to ask for help. But we are desperate.

Please, if you are reading this, help us. Even a small donation could mean we sleep under a real roof again. Could help us buy medicine, food, or clean water. Could bring back a little dignity to our lives. If you cannot donate, please share this story. You might reach someone who can.

The first two episodes of season 17 will be uploaded to a folder on both my Google Drive and Mega* after they air. I'm not sure how long it'll take to upload, so give it a bit if it's not showing up right away. As always, I'll upload higher quality Hulu rips (without commercials) some time after it releases at ~3-4am EST.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, the Abbott half of the crossover is already uploaded to both folders.

I will continue to update these weekly, just as I did last season, but please be aware that this arrangement is subject to potential technical difficulties, may have stream hiccups, commercial breaks, etc. and is meant solely as a stopgap for anyone who wants to watch it as close to its live release as possible. You may want to wait for the Hulu rips if you can.

*During the S16 premiere, people experienced an issue on Google Drive where it would give an error if too many people were watching/downloading the file at the same time, so I recommend using Mega instead.

i just think it's so fucking meaningful how we know alex hates in ear monitors and is always taking them off during the shows bc they bother him but then you may ask yourself why does he even goes through the trouble of putting them on anyway? and you remember that he has to bc it's up to him more than anyone else up there to ensure that everything is sailing smoothly so he begrudgingly accepts his fate. but THEN. you remember that during eycte he didn't wear his in ear monitors even once (1), when miles wore them for every single show, and you put together that this was alex (self proclaimed control freak) giving up half of the control and the responsibility to miles bc he can rely on him and felt comfortable trusting him to ensure that the show is going well. i bet that half the time he couldn't even hear what was going on up there but it didn't matter. the vibes were good and miles was happy so so was he! it wasn't a job, he must've been so relieved to not be the sole pilot of the ship and the main center of attention for a change, he'd just strut on stage to dance and sip his drink and be silly and cuddle his best friend. what a small but significant revelation
