While drawing this one, I chatted with my boyfriend and we noticed something. Sky doesn't have little birds on his island and never saw any until he visited the surface. For Sky, the others worlds are populated with the equivalent of munchkin cats. They are super cute and people breed them in gaggles for their eggs, but for a weird reason everyone seems afraid of them. Strange.

By the way, what was the quest with this horrible, furry beast, except giving us the feeling there's nowhere safe on earth or in the sky? Never found it.

Just a dream (thank goodness)

Just some cute Wild x reader comfort, no described nightmare, just Wild getting the comfortable he deserves.

You are in an inn, sharing a bed and room with Wild when you wake up to muttering and shifting.

You pry your eyes open and find Wild with a scrunched up face as he shifts again, squeezing you closer in his arms.

"No- no please-" Wild whispers shakily.

Swallowing hard, you move one hand to his shoulder, shaking it gently. "Wild?"

He flinches from your touch.

"Link?" You try again, reaching to touch his arm.

Wild's eyes snap open as he grabs your wrist in a tight grip. He dosen’t seem awake enough to recognize you just yet.

"Hey, it's just me." You soothe.

He blinks, looking at you a little closer. His fingers flex around your wrist.

"It's okay." You whisper.

Wild swallows, letting go of your wrist. "Firefly?"

"Yeah, it's me." You mile softly

He relaxes a little, reaching over to hug you. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay, I'm sorry I scared you."

Wild shift around until his head rests against your heart beat. He takes your hand in his, resting them by his face. "It's okay."

You card your free hand through his hair. "Do you want to talk about it?"

"No... I want to stay here."

"Okay." You whisper.

Wild sings into the moment with you, his presence melding with your own until he is lax against you. His breathing slows and evens.

He isn't asleep just yet.

"I'm right here." You murmur as you play with his hair.

"I know." He says. "I know."

"It was just a dream."

"I- I know."

"I won't let anyone or anything get you, Link." You soothe.

Wild gives you a soft, crooked smile as he looks up to you. The idea that anyone would care so deeply that they'd protect him is novel. He likes it though.

Here, in your arms, he knows he's safe.

He knows it was just a dream.

"Thank you." Wild says.

"It's no problem, I'll always be here to help you chase away nightmares.",

"Always?"

"Always." You say.

Wild quite likes the sound of that.

do you guys think whenever the chain has to split up to do tasks some chain members get salty if they’re not put into the same group?

my vision is Wild and Hyrule holding hands giving Time the biggest puppy dog eyes, silently pleading with him to pair them up. Like a pair of high schoolers who want to get put in the same group project

he splits them up usually bc they cause problems together or get too side tracked and each time they, mostly Wild, throws a fit like: “Thanks a lot Time 🙄 now I’m gonna go die of sadness”

The others (Twilight and Legend) are just: “am I not enough for you”
