it’s no challenge for jenkins to pretend he’s up to something he’s not  ---  in this instance, commanding his os to repeat, repeat, repeat and keep the calming rhythm of his late husband’s voice playing through an earphone  ---  but there’s a limit to the number of times he can claim, convincingly, that he’s been listening to music.

he’s surely hit his cap for the week.
