Merely teasing, of course. The machine had no need to bother kidnapping some girl to get Sonic’s attention, it’s not as though he was ordered to, and quite frankly...Her loud whining and screaming would be annoying. If the machine could, the memory alone of her constant squealing, crying, and the soft slapping of her fists against his armored body would’ve made him shudder. He just simply wanted to scare her, the machine enjoyed watching others squirm. He liked knowing that he could instill fear into others just from his presence alone. If he were a natural lifeform, perhaps he’d even describe it as feeling “good”.

However, she wasn’t scared. In fact, she was standing her ground...Even suggesting he simply “walk away”...Mercy? A warning? Was this girl mocking him? Did she truly think she stood a chance against him? Was she that delusional? Or had she just forgotten what he was capable of?...It would seem Amy had grown quite brave since their first encounter on Little Planet...It reminded him just a bit too much of a certain other hedgehog...

Metal Sonic did not like that.

Metallic claws spread out, his thrusters revving up a few times, as if to return what he perceived as her challenge to him. Red eyes remaining perfectly focused on the pink hedgehog. Metal had no reason to kidnap the girl...But he wouldn’t give her the satisfaction of even so much as thinking he ran from her. As far as he was concerned, if she wanted to just “walk away”, then she should hurry up and do so.

     “You know, I never thought I would actually say this, but with how slow things have been for me, part of me actually misses when Eggman used to kidnap me. At least then I got to have SOME type of excitement. I just want something exciting to happen. Even if it means dealing with Sonic and his antics...”

So she missed being kidnapped, did she? Perhaps he could arrange for that boredom to be remedied.

As if on cue, a few short beeps could be heard behind Amy. The silent machine stared coldly...He was still, unmoving, almost like a statue...One could assume he was in standby mode, even...If not for the cold, chilling glare of his red eyes, and the soft hum of his engine, ready to fire up at any moment.
