THE STORY OF 'FIRE FLOWERS'

FIRE FLOWERS - BOOK 1:

STORY SUMMARY:

A disturbing event is unfolding in the heart of modern China. Nezha, a well-known celestial warrior, starts to feel that familiar shiver. That shiver that always told him that something was wrong. The critical research on the Lady Bone Demon's power, carried out by the Demon Bull Prince, Red Son, has been stolen. His home has also been destroyed. Sun Wukong, the infamous Monkey King, has suddenly disappeared...or perhaps was taken. He was able to leave behind a dire warning of an imminent catastrophe, which lead them to discover the impossibly huge crack in the mortal realms barrier. Zhong Kui, the famed demon hunter, adds to the stress by reporting a heavy attack by dark spirits on the realm's borders. With so much activity, he is forced to remain in the liminal spaces and the astral planes to protect the barriers. Nezha must solve this mystery, being careful not to reveal his full powers to avoid alerting the perpetrator. He is plunged back into the mortal realm to walk among men once more in search for answers. Parallel to this, earth is in a state of unrest. Two rival cousins, Lin Sukai and Lin Lian, are beginning to uncover their family's enigmatic secrets. They find themselves unknowingly thrusted into a perilous world teeming with demons, celestials, and four other dangerous creatures that are planning this all out…

This story is completely made up and takes inspiration from various elements and characters of chinese folklore and mythology. My goal is to make the genuine attempt to keep the story faithful to the original characters, and to keep lore consistent and interlocking in some way with real life.

Fire Flowers is aimed towards young adults who appreciate awesome character-driven stories and enjoy the fandom that it's centered around. While I'm cool with people under the age of 18 enjoying my content, I strongly recommend that they do it with their parents permission. I really don't want little ones coming to this blog and freaking out about how some things in my stories scare them or complain about the character acting a certain way.

Q: How old is Nezha in this fanfiction?

In the story, Nezha is a Heavenly Immortal, and is considered an adult both physically and mentally. Immortals in the story continue to age until they reach their physical peak of adulthood, which can take a long time due to the dependence on their spiritual evolution. However, Human Immortals, after already reaching adulthood, do not experience any further aging, but their appearance may slightly change.
