I have a quick question. Who had made you inspired to be a voice actor? 🎤

Hey there! My inspirations derive from a handful of individuals(I like to pick and choose based on what sounds good), but my two major vocal inspirations are David Kaye and Charlie Adler. 🙂

I've always felt that the late, great Tony Jay would have made for an amazing Baron Dante, so I took a crack at doing an impression of his voice. Enjoy!

Oof. And those videos were over 30 minutes long!!! No wonder you were burnt out! And you didn't ask for a kofi or patreon too :(((

Exactly. And then there were the costs for what video editing I didn’t handle that also factored into my decision. Conner(Rodimus) did the intro scroll for episode 1, while my friend Kai I think did the beginning stuff for episode 2. The rest was all done by me personally. It was a lot of pressure at the time. When lightning struck during a bad storm, it killed my PC and wiped out all the project files/sound effects/music/voice acting/character-specific voice presets I’d had for episode 3, it just felt like a death blow.

What do you mean by overhead? What was it like managing a project of this caliber?

By ‘overhead’ I mean all of the behind-the-scenes scheduling with actors, coordinating, editing, mixing, more editing, sizing up panels, even more editing, etc. It was a lot and I basically did all of it by myself, save for the video editing. Heck, I even did some of that myself in episode 2.

Once you get past all of the unfun stuff, actually recording for the project and compositing(assembling all the different the pieces) is a blast and it’s wild getting to see your vision come to fruition.

Thank you for your kind words! I blow through here every once in a while. I’d like to start using this platform more regularly as twitter has kinda turned into a cesspool of negativity. I’m always happy to hear that people still enjoy my old work, many years later!

As you can probably tell, I’ve been busy building up my nerd armory lately. I’m collecting consoles and building up my library of retro games. I’ve also managed to get a lot of the MP Beast Wars stuff and have gotten into Newage’s offerings.

I’ve been caught up with real life stuff for the past few years, but I’m wanting to start making regular posts again. I hope everyone has been doing alright!

Is there a slight chance that maybe the mtmte voice over for the comics on your yt will get finished? I mean I know you said it was on hold, but that was a long while ago so I jus wonderin if it would be considered finished?

As things currently stand, I have no plans to return to the production side of things in regards to MTMTE. The amount of effort, organizing, scheduling and otherwise left me feeling burnt out towards the end. It was a lot to manage and I admittedly bit off more than I could chew because I didn’t understand my own limits.

That said, I had an absolute blast voicing the characters and if someone else wanted to take up the mantle and handle the overhead of the project, I’d gladly return to voice my characters and assist as creative consultant. 🙂

Every Halloween I watch your comic dub about Rodimus forcing Halloween upon Megatron... and on occasion I also watch "DON'T STOP! BELIEVING!"

Didn't mean to ask, but I was wondering if you're still voice acting of transformers? Or are those days are now behind? =P

Hello! I’m still doing voice over, and I finally have the drive to return to doing TF related projects- I’m just in the process of trying to determine when, and what I want to voice. I likely won’t be returning to MTMTE any time soon due to the scale and time that was sunk into producing those projects. One idea I’ve been kicking around for a while has been focusing on some of the older, lesser known TF comics. There’s one in particular that I’ve been interested in, but I need to hire a quality video editor first as I’m admittedly not too versed on that process. I hope this answers your question!

Wait, did you do a Cobra Commander voice acting at some point? I was trying to find something and I thought it was you but I'm not actually sure now (I got distracted and listened to a bunch of your Transformers voice acting again, I always love re-listening!)
