idk how relevant this is BUT i haven’t seen anyone talk ab this (if someone has, sorry!): the issue of vogue with anne hathaway on the cover that gerard had onstage in toronto featured an AI generated Guess ad that received crazy backlash back in july. as one of the most famous + respected fashion magazines in the world, this caused an industry panic because people are reading it as an indicator of what the new normal will be i.e, using AI generated models for print ads instead of human photographers and models, makeup artists, etc. do with this info what u will

A little bit of knowledge for any MCR fans who aren’t into nuclear weapons for some reason: if any country fires with nuclear weapons, we’re dead. That’s it. Pretty much everyone is dead.

The only possible way we could fire and still avoid a total nuclear war would be smaller scale nuclear firings on countries without any nuclear arms. Extremely unlikely.

Let’s say Russia decides to attack any NATO country with nukes. In order to avoid retaliation, they would need to completely wipe out the target. Not even including targets outside the country, like military bases and submarines, a country the size of Britain getting completely nuked would cause so much damage. It’s almost impossible to imagine.

A country as large as the US getting fired upon? The fallout from that would cause nuclear winter. The amount of launched nukes needed to wipe them out and avoid retaliation would be insane.

If a country ever fires? We are dead. Nuclear fallout will probably kill the rest of the population. People in cities or living near military bases will be evaporated. People living in rural areas will almost certainly die of fallout, and even if they have a nuclear bunker (different from a storm shelter) all the water will be poisoned. Any food exposed to radiation won’t be edible.

During Famous Last Words the graphics on the screen showed a rocket being launched. With Draag being sort of similar to soviet russia (the cold war kind), and Danger Days being linked to the world, I think Draag just sent some nuclear warheads out.
