btw an apology does not automatically mean “conflict resolved”. a conflict is only resolved if there is change, an apology is a good first step towards that because it means acknowledging what was wrong yes, however it doesn’t automatically mean ok everything has fine it’s been resolved. if nothing changes and people don’t change their behaviour the conflict continues because the issue is still there. we will wait to see if anything does actually change and i hope this is also a lesson to other people as well

Some big creators seem to believe that having a large following makes them inherently better—more talented, more important. It’s a tiring numbers game, right? But that’s just not how any of this works.

And it definitely doesn’t give anyone the right to treat others like they’re beneath them—especially over something as core to this space as sharing images from a game we all play. I mean, isn’t that the entire point of being here? Especially when people are giving proper credit?

If you’re a popular creator who thinks being rude to your own supporters is justified by a number on your screen—your sense of “fame”? It’s mostly an illusion. This is what I’ve observed: if you were to quit and leave tomorrow, there might be a ripple. A brief commotion. But the waters? They’ll part just enough to swallow you whole, and smooth over like you were never there. That’s what this place does. It's an active current that moves on. It’s constantly hungry and it consumes, even if there are no monetary transactions.

But you know what does last?

The impressions of people you were kind to. The ones you connected with. The ones you made laugh or feel seen. The ones you shared a little realness with, beyond the usual scroll of screenshots and edits. That’s what makes this a community—not some soulless marketplace listing.

So act like someone worth remembering with affection—not like someone whose only legacy is being an *sshole.

Awww we love waking up to cc creators apologizing for copyright striking people who shared their pictures, linked back to their blog, gave full credit and were only asking where to find something. I was kinda hoping to see an apology for selling broken hairs but a girl can dream. Like one of the impacted persons stated, an apology is just words on a screen until your actions start to speak louder, but make no mistake, the damage is already done.

I encourage creators to actually be a part of the community! You don't have to just provide "content". We would love to see your gameplay, stories, legacies, builds, interiors, etc. Tell us why you chose the lighting you did, or how your build adds to the world your building. If simblrs love nothing else, we love lore. You can always turn off WCIFs and just vibe out with the rest of us. In fact, I love it when cc makers do that. A great example is Pralinesims. Those hardwood floors and piercings are super dope, and so are their OCs and we know those OCs and love them.

Anyway, good morning, stay hydrated since the planet is currently 1000 degrees now, and keep your skin moisturized. Eat some fruit today, too.

There's been a lot of negativity on Simblr lately and I just want to make a point to thank the cc creators that make content for the fun of it. Who make content because they are passionate about their craft and want to share it with us. Who share resources openly and freely because they hope others can learn something from them. You guys make playing this game worth it and I hope you know at least one person appreciates how much heart you put into your work. Thank you for bringing whimsy, joy and creativity to a game that hasn't been made without profit in mind for quite some time now. We appreciate you!

Tianshi / Xian (TS4 Creator) Masterpost

This post is to keep a record of tianshi/xian, a sims 4 creator with a history of years long harassment of others. The primary reason for his harassment is due to others blocking or banning him from their space for his creepy behavior. encouraging others to harass people on his behalf

refusing to respect the boundaries of others (blocks/bans)

putting another minor sim (15 y/o) in a suggestive pose

lurking in a server and admitting to bringing up himself to get others to talk about him, in order to create a false narrative of bullying

defending the ad of a hentai sex game in which a middle school-age child was posed suggestively, by saying he knew someone in real life that was seen as a child for being flat-chested

antiblackness: engaging in a conversation where a black person's race was being discussed & being called a slur

transphobia: being angry at people for mistaking his cis "femboy" characters as trans women

transphobia: making a poll to determine whether to make one of his cis "femboy" characters trans for the sole purpose of breeding kink, after the anger re: trans women

cc related: stealing meshes from multiple creators from sims and second life to paywall/claim as his own

cc related: taking money for commissions then ghosting
