First Born Part Six
Pairing: Dwalin x OC
Warnings: Grafic deaths
Word count: 1292
Orcs suddenly surrounded us with their weapons drawn. "#45?" Dwalin asked.
"Wouldn't have it any other way." I reply lunging at the orc's with my sword slitting their throats and sliding it through their nasty rib cages through the heart. I slowly make my way to the tree line and climb the tree nocking an arrow and letting it soar through the air right into the back of an orc's head and out the other side coming through his glazed eye. I shoot many more arrows until there is no one left standing on the slightly more clear path but Dwalin and now me as I jump down from my perch landing gracefully on the blood spattered ground.
Hearing the little pattering of feet, my ears perk up. "Fili??!?!?" The feet stop. All we could hear is small deep breaths trying to be unnoticed. Motioning for Dwalin to stay quite and keep going I spring up into a tree and survey the underbrush for the small boy. Dropping down silently I approach a small hunched being on the forrest floor. Getting closer I knew it was Fili. I grab him by the shoulders pulling him into a bone crushing hug to which he struggles then relaxes as he realizes its me.
"I'm sorry" He whimpers out as I loosen my grip. Looking at his face I see tears streaming down his cold, red cheeks.
"It's okay you just scared the living daylights out of the entire kingdom." I say giggling. I don't want him to blame himself because mom will be mad he left but she'll never yell she will just tell him that it wasn't his fault and to never do anything like this again. He will be punished for running away, but it won't be too harsh though harsh enough that he learns his lesson.
You see that's the thing with our mother. She will punish you for what you did wrong but it will be something that will make you learn from what you did wrong. I'm my opinion or well from experience really it's the best way to teach your kid a lesson without being harsh, yes sure they may have ran away for some silly reason but that's no excuse to punish them in a brutal fashion, they are in fact a child and the reason for their actions may not be all it seems. Listen to them instead of just punishing based on the actions.
"Let's go ho-" I start.
"No." Fili says like going home will be the end of him.
"What is wrong with going home?" I ask, keeping my voice in a calm, motherly tone as to not make it seem that I'm angry at him, which I'm not.
"Mommy is gonna disown me after this." He says starting to cry again.
"No Fili she won't. I promise. You will get a punishment but whatever it is won't be harsh or unfair. You will have until tomorrow morning because mom will wait so you can meet our little brother." I said try to reassure him. A smile spreads across his face. "There ya go, now can we go home?"
"Yes." He quietly whispers. Just after, I feel a arrow fly by my head and into the tree beside it. My eyes widen, there's more. Shit. I turn to Dwalin and stand hiding Fili behind me. Drawing my sword.
"M'Lady what on earth do you think you are doing?" Dwalin asks me.
"I thought that would be obvious I'm getting in a fighting stance so that we can kill those nasty creatures of hell." I said in a duh voice.
"No you need to get your brother back to Erebor it is not safe for you two I know you can fight but Fili hasn't been trained and, I'd hate to say it but will get in the way or killed. M'Lady go back to Erebor I will meet you there." Dwalin says but I don't care.
"I can hide him in the under brush or in a tree if I tell him to stay there and be quite he will." I bargain.
"No. I won't have it. Go." Just as he finished his sentence an orc's scout breaks through the tree line.
"I am not leaving you here alone to fight what could be one hundred orc's!" I say. He sighs.
"Just go."
I go up to him stand on my tippy toes and say "No"
"Dia I think he's right." Fili says quietly. "If anything happens to you he can't protect me when fighting off forty orc's, if your that worried take me back most of the way then I'll run the rest and you can come back." He suggests.
I am speechless so Dwalin speaks for me. "He has a valid point and it'll work if you carry him and run as fast as you can you'll be most of the way to Erebor in no time. Do as he suggested and we'll see what happens." He says sternly. Why does his voice have to be so god damn deep.
"Fine but if you get hurt I'm blaming myself." I sass.
"Wouldn't expect anything else." He says in truth. I then pick up my brother take one last look at Dwalin memorizing everything about him as I may never see him again. After what seems like an hour I turn and start to run as fast as I can back home, hearing the clash of metal behind me soon start to fade.
After a while I stop to catch my breath. Big mistake. A snap grabs my attention. It seemed to echo off of everything. Pulling Fili behind me I stand on guard sword at a ready. Minutes later the presence steps out of the forest. "Dia?!?!" It's Thorin oh thank Valar. "I see you found your brother." He says. Surprisingly his voice isn't angry he's calm. Somethings up.
"Okay what is it? What did I do now?" He looks at me puzzled.
"What? Never mind where is Dwalin he came down this way. Have you seen him?"
"Yes. He told me to run with Fili and get back to Erebor and then go back and help him." By the look on his face I could tell he wasn't going to let me go back.
"How far?" He asked sternly.
"20 leagues. No more no less. You'll find him easy enough." I answer. "How far are we from Erebor?"
"Far enough that Fili won't make it on his own go with him the whole way the lands aren't safe during the night especially for young children who can not fight." Nodding at our Uncle I swoop Fili up and dash home so I can get back to help my uncle and my one what no I mean Dwalin. Once we return the gates open almost immediately and doctors, my family and other members of the court rush to us. Getting up I turn and walk out only to be stopped by my great-grandfather.
"And where do you think you're going young lady?"
"Back to Thorin and Dwalin that need my help." I say and turn and run back to them as fast as I can.

First Born Part Five
Pairing: Dwalin x OC
Warnings: graphic death descriptions
Word Count: 1240
Starting onto the unknown path ahead Dwalin was wiry. His axe at a ready he slowly began down the foggy path.
He searched for hours and there was no sign of the little dwarf prince. Dwalin had relaxed a while before placing his axe back in its holder on his back.
A sudden snap of a twig behind made Dwalin turn around battle ready axe and hammer in hand. "Who's ever out there show yourself or I will chop your head of without a second thought! Now come out!" His voice bellowed around him and into the seemingly empty woods.
"Now Master Dwalin, why on Valar's earth would you want to hurt the love of your life?" Came the voice of a woman. The voice of like she said 'the love of his life'.
"Wha- Wait what no. Love of my life. Pshhhh I love no dwarrowdam. M'lady." Dwalin finished in a sarcastic voice as the beautiful Lady Dia steps out of the dark Forrest, the moon light shining off of her fair skin, her practically snow white hair and gleaming in her blue and deep, dark hazel eyes.
Dia POV (first of many point of view changes throughout the story)
I step lightly through the forest searching for my little brother. He left his necklace in the hall. He knew I would come looking and with them on we can feel the presence of the other and soon the third will be made for Kili. All though he won't have it until he's older and can walk because when we are close after meeting after an week or so they burn like a wild fire. Any way I'm was looking all over the forest when I came across a fork in the road with two sets of foot prints. Both much to large for my minuscule brother. Finally coming to a decision I head left, I feel drawn that way for some weird reason I feel that if I walk right that I will not continue.
I follow the foot prints for a while speeding up as there seems to be no danger.
I still feel as though I am not completely safe like I'm being watched. So instead of staying to the path I head farther into the trees keeping the path in my sights.
Hearing the breathing of someone I stop and hide behind a tree. My breath calm, my fear hidden and my sword at the ready. Looking down I see my foot underneath the root so I move it to the other side of it breaking a twig from the act. My ears pick up weapons being draw and a voice?
"Who's ever out there show yourself or I will chop your head of without a second thought? Now come out!" DWALIN???!!!?? What is- oh wait the search party shit.
"Now Master Dwalin, why on Valar's earth would you want to hurt the love of your life?" I say in the most feminine way I can stepping from my hiding place.
"Wha- Wait what no. Love of my life. Pshhhh I love no dwarrowdam. M'lady." He finished and said the M'lady in a very sarcastic voice.
"Excuse me but I am NO lady. My mother can back me up on that fact like there is no tomorrow." I say then let out a little giggle making him chuckle. It's to bad I can't tell him how I feel since well you know it's forbidden as my grandfather says. Such a shame since he's my one, like that means anything to any of them.
"Well I would have to agree with her." Dwalin jokes gesturing to my outfit. A deep green tunic paired with a pair midnight black hunting trousers and brown boots with a small one inch heel since my mother insisted on me always being just a tiny bit taller as I'm shorter the average dwarrowdam. Looking down at my outfits it's been covered in mud and other things I walked and slashed in on my little treck.
"Well what do you expect me do train in? A dress? Pfff. My mother would have my head." I say bursting out laughing Dwalin soon follow suit. "We need to find my brother" I gasp out between breaths eventually calming down and standing from my crouched position.
"Right let's continue he wouldn't go to Dale he would be recognized your uncle took the path leading there but I fear he may have gone past our borders." Dwalin said and started walking.
Dwalin POV
"Who's ever out there show yourself or I will chop your head of without a second thought? Now come out!" I shout into the woods that seemed empty.
"Now Master Dwalin, why on Valar's earth would you want to hurt the love of your life?" Comes the smooth voice of my one. She steps out from behind a tree her skin catching the light of the moon and her snow white hair shining with the stars. Her eyes glint brightly in the dim light of the night making her whole face light up. Oh her eyes how I love them. How they are two different colours a sky blue like Fili's and a dark hazel and sometimes golden brown colour.
"Wha- Wait what no. Love of my life. Pshhhh I love no dwarrowdam. M'lady." I finished and said the M'lady in a very sarcastic voice.
"Excuse me but I am NO lady. My mother can back me up on that fact like there is no tomorrow." Dia said then let out the most adorable little giggle making me chuckle. It's to bad I can't tell her how I feel since well you know it's forbidden as the king says I quote he said this to the entire army "Any, who wish to court the Lady Dia will have no chance as I forbid it no one is to court my great-granddaughter I don't care who you are you have to have the blessing of the entire royal family including the twin of her father who hasn't been seen in thirty years" Which practically broke my heart since she's my one.
"Well I would have to agree with her." I joke gesturing to her outfit. A deep green tunic that fits her curves perfectly, paired with a pair midnight black hunting trousers tight but thick as to keep her warm and brown boots with a small one inch heel since her mother insisted to her always being just a tiny bit taller as she is shorter the average dwarrowdam. Which mind you I love, she's about 4' 7" where as the average height is 5' 0". Looking down at her outfit it's been covered in mud and other things she had walked and splashed in on her hunt for her oldest brother.
"Well what do you expect me do train in? A dress? Pfff. My mother would have my head." She says bursting out laughing, soon I follow suit. "We need to find my brother" She gasped out between breaths eventually calming down and standing from her crouched position.
"Right let's continue he wouldn't go to Dale he would be recognized your uncle took the path leading there but I fear he may have gone past our borders." I say and started walking, slower though as she can't walk as fast because of her height she only come up to 'bout my elbow.

Part One Part Two
The little feet of a child could be heard padding around the halls of erebor. Prince Fili through open the doors of the throne room only find it empty. continueing on reached the royal chambers. Openng every room he quickly stuck his head in the crack but found the all emepty. Hurriedly spinning around he rambs right into the knees of his uncle.
Thorin’s eyebrows raised as he walked up behind his nephew who soon bumbed into him nearly toppleing over. "I've been looking fo you Fili. Where have you been?" He asked the small dwarf.
"My brother's coming!" He practically screamed. Rushing paassed his uncle back to his mother. who's cries could be heard louder and louder as they rounded corner after corner, finnally reaching the infermary. "Momma!" Fili calls as he sees his sister holding the hand of their sweating mother.
"Fili why did you leave I had to send Thorin after you?" Dis pants out. He raised a small bushy brow in confusion. He had went to find his family.
"I went to find them," He stops looking around the room just now noticing his family sitting in chairs trying not to laugh at his adorable, confused face.
"My dearestt Fili. they are never far. Ever since Dia Thorin is always close even more than the others." Fili's mouth took the shape of an "O", slowly nodding his head.
"Right I remember Dia telling me that. Is little brother gonna be here soon I wanna meet 'im" His face lights up as he continues on, in his little voice. The lingering question is then answered as Dis screams;
"For the love of Valar get him out of me!"
"Just relax m'lady, everyone but Thorin and Dia out." The doctor calmly says to everyone. To which they all begin to hesititanly filter out, going to wait in the hall hearing their sister, daughter and mother's pain and being able to do nothing. Frerein had a look of disgust on his face. Thror was pacing, Thrain was sitting on the floor with his face in hands each flinching at each scream. And Fili the poor lad bagan to cry silently and was begining to wish he never told Dia he wanted two siblings as his momma had overhear the conversation. He believes it his fault his mom is in excrutiating pain.
Nobody noticed the little body of the second youngest heir to the throne of Erebor slip away. Once he kew he was out of their line of sight he started running and didn’t stop until he couldn’t hold himself together anymore. Sinking to his knees his hand come to hs face in a useless efort to silence his cries.
Back in the infermary the youngest heir of Erebor could be heard although unlike his brother and sister he didn’t cry he made baby noises that made everyone smile. No one even thought of the fact that Fili wasn’t there with them until,
"Fili would you like to hold your brother?" Dis asked her son who she thought was in the room. "Fili?" She said, looking up she couldn’t find hm anywhere in the room. "Where’s my other son?"
He's right-" Thrain stopped when he turned and his grandson wasn’t where he had last saw him.
"Well don’t just stand there you big dope heads find my son!!!!!!!!!!!!" She yelled.
"Sister, he could be anywher-" Frerin started.
“I don't care you weanling black frood!! Now find my little boy before I kill you myself!!!!"
"We'll find him sister no matter the cost." Thorin swore to Dis.
~
Somewhere deep in the forests around Erebor, the young prince Fili sat starting to calm himself. The wild bellowed around him, whistling in his ears. Throwing his hair around his head like loose straw pieces. Looking up from his hands head, rubbing his eyes for had to have been the hundredth time. He stood up from his place on the ground shoulders slumped and shaking from the chilling wind and pouring rain. Fili's hair stick to his face no matter what he did. He wanted to return home, into the warm, loving arms of his mom but knew that they would be anything but welcoming. So instead he ran and ran through the trees only coming to a half when his little legs could not carry him no farther.
~
"Fili!"
“Fili!!!!!!!" The search part for the prince shouted traipsing through the tall trees.
"Over 'ere" Dwalin shouted finding a patch of leaves and grass crushed to the forest floor just the size for Fili if he was on his knees. “He sat here. By the looks of it for two hours.” Dwalin finished saddened that they had just missed him by minutes. He hated that he had not been closer to the prince, the little brother of the love of his life. Princess Dia, of course he could never say anything or act on his feelings he was a simple guard it’s practically unheard of.
“He could have went anyway and he is little enough that his footprints would haven’t take too the grass.” Thorin paused. “Split up! Go every which way! Find my nephew no matter how far you have to go. He’s small and can fit in places you nor I can fit.” He continued following Dwalin going north.
~
After traveling a small while Thorin stopped Dwalin mid step. “I know of you secret.”
Dwalin eyes widened for a split second an act of which did not go unnoticed by Thorin. “I keep nothing from you my lord.”
“Dwalin-“ He paused choosing his words wisely. “I can see it in your eyes. Your love of my niece. You’re lucky my sister nor my father or grandfather can’t see it or you would have already lost your head. Just know that if you ever do court her you will always have my blessing.” He told his friend.
“I- thank you Thorin. Now let’s find Fili.” He said not finding a reason to doubt his friend words. They start to walk again checking every crevice. Coming upon a fork in the road they stop.
“You go left I will continue on the right path. He won’t have gotten far.” Thorin ordered starting down the right path.

Part One
It was a momentous occasion the first heir was to turn one in just over a day. The little girl brought an unknown joy to the kingdom. One that many thought would never return after the arkenstone. The party was to be huge, the entire kingdom was coming along with all the dwarf lords of the four separate dwarf kingdoms.
The festivities had started. Music, dancing, eating, drinking, games and many more things where going on around the decorated halls Emerald green, sky blue and hazel colour streamers hung from the ceiling. Torches just low enough that they wouldn't catch fire. Coloured cloth draped over tables with plates sat upon them full to the bring with food. Three tables stand at the front of the party piled high with beautiful hand mad gifts for the one year old princess. She was yet to join her party as she was napping.
One hour later the guests are asked to pay attention to the doors as they started to open revealing the royal family with the newest addition laughing and clapping happily in her mother's arms. Awwwww's ripples through the crowd as of planned. When they stopped at the front Thror spoke. "Let us continue to celebrate the first birthday of my great-grand daughter Dia and May she have many more!"
And that she did, only thirty four years late rthe little cries of Prince Fili Durin Chosen Protector Of The Blue Topaz Ember First Son Of The Lady Dis Second Born Child Fifth in Line For The Throne Of Erebor can heard again in the halls of Erebor as the fifth heir to the thrown was born. He was bigger than his sister was a t first only by a few pounds. A few hours after he was born Fili was in his crib sleeping when Dia snuck into the room. She kneeled down by the crib and proceeded to say.
"Hello little brother. I will be the best big sister anyone can ask for. I will always love you no matter what. I will protect you for all eternity. Even in death I will protect you and keep you from harm. You will forever and always be my little brother no matter how big you get." Little did she know her mom, uncle's grandfather and great-grandfather were out side the room listening to her little speech.
Their relationship didn't start out like Thorin and Dis's. They were very close, even though Fili had no idea what was happening around him. His sister spent every second she could with her brother as she was very protective of him. As time went on the bond between the two only grew. They did everything together; train, eat, sleep though it was in separate beds, play and hunt.
(A/N Brown haired on is Fili I'm going as his hair lightened as he got older and the blond in Dia her hair darken at the roots when she turned fifty, middle is Thorin)
Sure Dia was a lot older than her brother but it didn't bother either of them. Everything was perfect everything was fine. Until that one day when Dia was forty-eight and Fili was fourteen. Their mum was pregnant with their little sibling. They were ecstatic. Life just got so much better.
————————————————————————
Dia and Fili couldn't wait to meet the little tike. They even came up with a group name as they couldn't use The Dynamic Duo anymore they thought; Triple Trouble. Fili and Dia helped their mom a lot seeing as they wanted their younger sibling to be in perfect health. When the day they had all been waiting for finally arrived Fili ran for the physician then the rest of his family.

First Born Part One
Warnings: Well described deaths, cussing
Word Count: 869
Pairing: Dwalin x OC
Changes To Original Plot By J.R.R. Tolkien: Thorin, Fili, And Kili are still alive and don’t die. Fili and Kili have an older sister. They have gems that are the same as hers but the colour of their eyes.
A\N: this is my first story this is but the first part of the story. I hope you enjoy!!!!!
Clothing;
Her Hair;
Looks Like;
Joy spread through the Kingdom of Erabor the kings daughter, Dis, announces she is pregnant. Most never thought this day would come so, celebrations where held for days. For days on end you could feel the happyness of the dwarves of Erebor. Children danced around the streets and in the halls of their homes. The adults clanked ale pints and chuged them whole. "The next genereation of the Durin's is set!!!!" Is what was heard thoughut the kingdom. It was drunkenly slurred, happily shouted and cherrily sung by the citzens. Meanwhile the royal family is gathering for a little celebration of their own a tradition for when an heir is conceived.
The royal family was over joyed at the anouncment. But they all feard one thing above all.
Thorin's Rath.
Not two days ago Dis reveal it to the father of the child and not two days ago did she see him with another woman. This news had spread yet, did not dampen their spirits as their citzens had thier backs. The two were found and thrown out by every dwarf in Erebor.
But much to everyone's surprise the rant never came. He simply walked up to her kneeled before her and simply stated not a care in the world of who was watching,
"My dear sister, you may think I am going to tell you that I will kill him, but I'm not. You will be a great mother with or without him. I will be there every step of the way. I will not leave your side like your beloved did. He is frightened and when he comes to realize what he missed out on," He pauses to take a breath. "it will be too late, as your child, my neice or nephew, will be all grown up and it will be as if he was here because I will fill the role that that dwarf could not and would not fill. As he does not deserve to raise or even know your child after what he did to you."
The entire room froze with their jaws to the ground. No one had ever seen the stioc faced dwarf express emotion like that especially toward Dis as they hate each other or so they led everyone to believe.
The two siblings hated each other from the moment Dis opened her eyes. Sure, they loved one another they were sibligs they had to. Its just that as young chidren, well you know your sibling is more of a burden that a firend. But as time went by so did their hatered for one another. By the time Thorin was 30 and Dis was 20 both realised, as their father had become cold and distant after finding the archenstone, they need each other more than they thought they knew. Thus led to them being closer than average.
So as Thorin promised he was there at all times for his sister he wasn't over baring, he was gentle as he thought by holding her hand to hard would hurt the baby. How paranoid he was about this worried their other brother as he thought they lothed one another, but he came to except his brothers new found adoration for their little sister.
Nine months later......
