Paradox of Joyful Tribulation
Since birth she has known defeat
Orphaned, infant baby girl
Constant tears down her cheek
Almost a decade had passed her by,
A happy childhood of love and
Abundance of joy, no tears in her eyes.
Then a court ruling made with haste
Returned the girl to her mother
In the most sinister place.
Evil dark spirits are they;
Perversion defiles her innocence,
Horrific! Profane!
Where was God when she cried?
Abandoned by Him too -
Without works her faith had died.
Disgust and hatred grew
For him and his demons &
Her mother always knew.
Why God?!? She yearned to know.
Four years of wickedness
She breaks, and her terror exposed.
Fifteen years later drugs helped her forget.
Suicide is tempting &
Her new spouse a pimp.
Her sin is how she survives
Faith diminishes away
She wants and end to this life.
Just before giving completely up -
She laments to the Lord
Father please carry me up!
Prayers unheard, yet a blessing is born.
Almighty Father created a
Mother with the birth of a son.
Instant love so fierce and true!
She vowed to protect him
Give more love than she ever knew.
That’s it! She secretly declared.
In a rush, she packed her belongings
And with her son she had fled.
She believed her son was God’s gift;s
Empowering her motherhood
And restoring her reason to live.
Ten years down the road
A daughter was born
And a mother’s faith had grown.
God’s promise to never forsake
Is difficult to always believe,
Even for the abundant with faith.
Now this mom has a graduate degree;
She worships with all her heart
Thankful for his grace and mercy!
Truth is... she returned to her hell,
To offer forgiveness...
She prayed for their salvation as well.
The tribulation caused tremendous hurt,
But never forsaking His child--
God used her to break family curse.
In Jesus Christ, I rebuke thee!
Satan stand down!
From your bondage I’m free!!!

Purity
His final hours on Earth and Peter Simon could not fathom Jesus serving His servants; but John 13: 7 Jesus said, you do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand. 1 john 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness. When we get our feet dirty walking in a defiled world we doesn't need to be re-saved, we just need rejuvenation. We need our feet cleansed. Â We need to be refreshed in Christ and restored in Christ. John 13: 34- 35 A new commandment I give you: Love one another as I have loved you. By this, all will know you are my disciples, if you love one another. Christ’s Love cleanses us.
Humility
Humility is not thinking lowly of yourself; it is not thinking of yourself at all. When we are empty of self we are empowered of the Holy Spirit. God’s Love never quits and nothing will ever separate you from the perfect and eternal Love of God. Though the disciples didn’t deserve the Love of Christ, they needed the Love of Christ; therefore, they received the Love of the Lord Jesus Christ and John 13:1 in the world, He loved them to the end.
The mark of a Christian is not in what we wear, nor jewelry, nor even by the Bibles we carry, but by the lives we live and the love we carry. John 13:16 A who sent Him. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3:21, No boasting, for all things are yours in Christ. We have the unsearchable riches of Christ (grace, wisdom, mercy, glory); therefore, we don’t have to be constantly promoting ourselves and pushing ourselves, but rather we humble ourselves in the Spirit of Christ. Humility is laying down our own personal dignity and doing whatever it takes to minister in the name of Jesus Christ. We need to wash others feet to refresh them -- not in scolding water, but in a service of love, to bring them back to Jesus.
Ministry
John 13: 14-15. Minister to each other in the name of Jesus all the time, as selfless service, as Christ has loved. If I then washed your feet, you should wash others feet for I have given you example to do as I have done to you. This includes any selfless act for serving others just as Jesus did for us. Jesus wasn’t grandiose in His ministry, but are we willing to serve unnoticed and unheralded? We need to find the ministry God has gifted us to serve. Find someone who needs Jesus; find a car to fix; find a house to paint; a lawn to mow and do it in the name of Jesus Christ. Sacrificial, steadfast, selfless love expressed in acts of kindness and ministry to both believers and those who do not know Christ.
Inspiration
People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
... Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you
of selfish, ulterior motives;
... Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some
false friends and some true enemies;
... Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
... Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
... Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
... Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
... Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
... Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
We can do no great things - only small things with great love.

DREAMers, don’t stop dreaming
You’ve probably heard by now that President Trump and his Attorney General Jeff Sessions have decided to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Originally created by President Obama, the program provided hope and protection to nearly a million children of undocumented immigrants, many of whom have growing up knowing no other nation besides the United States of America.
In their hearts, in their lives, DREAMers are Americans. And they are human beings. The cruelty of deporting them to an unfamiliar land is matched only by the recklessness of doing so. Immigration is vital to our identity, our economy, and our culture. To extinguish the dreams of DREAMers is not only unkind, but fundamentally un-American.
So, Tumblr, here are some ways you can help each other out:
Call Congress and tell them to pass the DREAM Act. There’s a six-month delay before Trump’s order kicks in, and that’s six months for Congress to get their act together on this. Light a fire under them, will you?
Join an event near you, and connect with others IRL who are fighting for what’s right.
Don’t forget to take care of yourself, especially if you’re one of the people directly affected by this. You can’t just fight—you also have to heal.
Tell your story. Tag it #DREAMer. Let people know what you’ve experienced, and let other DREAMers know they’re not alone.
And if you could use some perspective on what it’s like for a DREAMer right now, please read this Answer Time session with an undocumented immigrant who took your questions on her situation, her hopes, and her fears. It’ll open your eyes, it’ll open your heart. It’s what the world needs right now.
Stay strong, Tumblr.

Identifying people’s problems and presenting step-by-step and detailed solutions to them is likely to find many takers. But the key is to give out as much as you can.

One important concept that I came across was Opportunity Cost — the notion of quantifying what you give up when you chose one option over another.
