The need to walk in forgiveness becomes even more obvious when we consider the devastating effect of unforgiveness on spirit soul and body. Spiritually it closes the flow of the superior waters of revelation from the throne, regarding the soul, it dries its fruitfulness and unleashed psychological desertification, physically it causes organic stress which diminishes our immune system and unleashed illness. The temptation to bitterness and unforgiveness is usually stronger when it involves people for whom we have given our lives in service. The saying that to forgive is divine is a truth of eternal value for here our divinity arises. We must forgive even when the one who causes us pain is completely oblivious to the dagger in their hands from which our blood still flows. Forgiveness is a supernatural resolution of eternal crises, it redeems the one "against whom we have an issue" and simultaneously sets us free from our self-enclosed hell. It forms bridge of spiritual connection though there may never be physical contiguity. It is the one posture that is multiplied immediately by the nature of God.
