WE all know they're there for our safety but the process can be a pain in the butt at times.

The basic rules are well known among travelers; no metals, no weapons, no liquids(there's a limit) and of course be ready to take off shoes and belts.

This sounds like common sense but there are a few individuals that just don't get it.

Don't be that person. Be prepared so you won't take forever, the line keeps moving swiftly and you don’t miss your flight.

Here a few tips to make your experience a lot less of a headache:

Get IDs and Boarding passes out and ready.

Throw away your water or liquor bottle( or drink it but I strongly discourage this as you won't get on your flight and might get alcohol poisoning like this lady did)

Take your laptop out of your bag and place it on its OWN bin.

If you have a metal implant let the officers know before going through the machine.

Don’t be slow. Take your shoes off and belt as soon as you get next to the luggage x-ray machine. Think ahead, the people behind you will appreciate it.

Be cool and don't argue with TSA. YOU WILL NEVER WIN.

Hey guys! I basically travel for work and pleasure. I am a Flight Attendant for a SUPER MAJOR Airline and I can say that I have learned a few tricks throughout the years.

Which I will definitely share with y'all!

I am originally from Dallas, TX and I love me some sweet tea. I started flying three years ago and have become addicting to it.I had a previous travel blog which sadly never took off. With the help if Andrew, my husband, I will keep up with the blog and of course with y’all.

Traveling can be intimidating and nerve wreaking but with a little help from someone who basically lives in airports and hotels, you will be an expert flyer in no time.  People might even think you're part of those fancy frequent flier programs.
