Everyday I drag my chemically imbalanced ass out of bed, and to my desk to write for my stupid fictional characters. And spend the entire time feeling as though I’m trying to rip my own damned teeth out to write.

But the second I turn the damned thing off, and crawl back into my bed. It’s as if god herself has parted the clouds and shined a light into the empty cavern of my skull so that my singular braincell can properly bounce off of bone. To finally, finally string together 6 to 9 paragraphs on my phone with it four inches anyway from my face because I’m not trying that damned computer back on. Least the clouds cross back through and I am left with fuck all.

The problem w writing fiction is that you'll be like tee-hee I'm going to write a story about a fucked up little scenario that's got nothing to do with anything in real life, just some pure messed up nonsense, and then you finish it and take a step back and go aw rats I made a metaphor again

Incorrect sayings that I use so often I’ve almost forgotten that they’re not the originals:

You can lead a horse to water, but if you drown it you have to walk home

Opening a can of whales

You made your bed, now shit in it

Combining the latter two into the phrase “you opened this can of whales, now lie in it”
