Sonadow :(

I like the idea that Sonic can be silent for hours but word vomits when he's nervous or catches the right moment. Shadow is a good listener...at least to people he respects. I HC it's a bad trait of his, walking away or leaving before someones finished talking because obviously he already knows this thing.

I think it's something they would both have to work on. Sonic might even have the opposite issue, never finishing or explaining enough...just running off.

a lil tropey sonadow warm up, before getting some more comic stuff going in the new year. This one's been sitting in my files for months.

I think over time he'd become fascinated by the strange things people say, given how often sonic just sits and listens to the world around him. At some point his "wtf are you talking about, that's a dumb thing to say" would turn into, "thats a weird thing to say. Why? tell me more. I need to understand everything."

I bet sonic would slap him with a "why do you think he said that? Really? huh." but never explaining, making shadow doubt himself and ask more just to prove he's exploring more perspectives.

Also continues my HC that he's accidentally romantic, despite himself haha. "is he into me?" Who knows, honestly.

Friendly reminder Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, 2 of the most important people involved in stonewall, created STAR, the first trans organization in the US. So yes, they were at stonewall. Yes the first pride parade, which was in honor of and celebrating stonewall, etc etc etc.

Even before then people who identified as trans have been around since BC.

2 spirited people are and have been around for thousands upon thousands of years, it's part of their culture, and many of those people now choose to also identify with the trans label because of their 2 spirit identity.

Trans people have always been around, always will be around, and people like this are blatantly obtuse to it. Even the specific examples this person used are wrong, a quick Google search "who were the founders of STAR" "who were important figures at Stonewall" will tell you that.

Read a history book. Go to a museum (I've literally seen Greek art of trans people from Pompeii in person at an exhibit, I have pictures). Do a fucking Google search. And take a deep breath, stop infighting in the community, and turn your attention to the actual problem, the people actively taking away the entire queer communities rights. Thanks.

Scrooge also uses the term “square”… in daily conversation

one time he called Mágica a “square” and it personally offended her for life, ripped open several wounds, and destroyed her emotional well-being for the rest of her days

Mrs. Beakley’s guilty pleasure is watching trash tv. Real Houseives? yes. Dance Moms? she quotes verbatim. The Bachelor? it’s her personality.

Mrs. Beakley watching these tv shows also got Della invested. now they throw a hissy fit if the other watches ahead of them

Webby cries over Bluey episodes on the daily.
