we do need to revisit the wording of "you can't have your cake and eat it too" because i don't think it clearly enough conveys that it's more that you can't simultaneously retain a cake and also get to consume it (which would render you cakeless). for years i was like But why not....it's my cake....?

I had the horrifying (or maybe delightful) revelation today that the fandom designs for s1-s5 Jonathan Sims give off very similar vibes to this meme and it's haunting me now

aftg from anybody else's perspective would have neil as like. this skittish weird kid who looks like we pulled him out of a dumpster turns out to be actually kind of badass and woah has he secretly been this cool and planned out the whole time?

but it's so important that its from neils pov because we get to know that he actually is a weirdo who's having a panic attack 90% of the time and the other 10% he's serving cunt on accident

-daisy is crying but only from one eye (only one part of herself is still herself enough to be in pain )

-they have the same eye colour (the hunt has them both)

-they both have matching mouth scars ,likly from eachother, symbol for their hurtful relationship, but also of their close bond in that pain.

-besira is still holding on close even tho she already has bite marks on her hands

-they are not looking at eachother

-besiera's headscraf is white like daisy's teeth (white being a colour closly associated with innocence) : to eachother , they are good people.

neil “unreliable narrator” josten is on full display throughout the series but potentially my favorite example is when he’s helping matt move in and he’s like no one can know about my secret duffel bag full of kevin photos and his super sly and casual way of keeping it on the dl is to carry the bag up and down the stairs SIX TIMES helping matt move in instead of leaving it….in his dorm room?

i can just HEAR andrew thinking like okay….so step one find out what’s in the sketchy ass bag
