I've been procrastinating way too much with all this comic-making and stuff. I actually have a lot of ideas in mind, but the more complex ones, like this, take me maybe two weeks at best, and only if I actually focus (which almost never happens). I have trouble starting one project and getting another going at the same time hehe.

I've been trying to learn more about character design and animation, so I've kind of neglected my Lackadaisy comics. Hopefully I'll get back into the groove, but I can't promise anything soon.

How is lucille with Viktor?

Sorry it took so long anon, I completely missed this one 😭

She takes him slightly more seriously than Mordecai. But overall, she shares Ivy’s frustrations when it comes to his communication skills ^^’

In the beginning she didn’t think much of him. He was a grumpy guy that didn’t seem to like her at all— or anyone else, really. His silent nature was irritating and she quickly gave up on trying to engage with him more.

But I’d say they did eventually form a quiet bond. Not the same he has with Ivy, but over time a mutual respect developed.

Lucille came to understand him better. Especially once she realised he didn’t actually hate her. His attitude stemmed more from his discomfort with seeing a child caught up in this criminal activity. She inevitably reminded him of his own estranged daughter, so he naturally felt some kind of reluctant protectiveness towards Lucille, that he would show in… his own way.

I also like to think they occasionally bond over their shared frustrations with Mordecai though ^^

I was just wondering—does Lucille do okay with bugs? I just can't stop imagining the idea of Bonnie proudly running up like, “LOOK, LOOK!!” while holding some wiggly little critter for her to admire. 🐛✨

She does actually ! Lucille loves animals of all kind, bugs included :3 She has no problem picking them up like it’s nothing— which sometimes turned out to be a bad idea, but that never stopped her ^^’

Her and Bonnie would definitely bond over this ! This is so adorable 😭💕

To answer your question, I use IbisPaint to draw on my tablet !

Since a lot of people have been asking me, I decided to make a small doc with all of my brushes and a few screenshots of my process.

Sadly I can’t really share a speed paint because I have a bad habit of flipping the canvas a lot and having so many refs it gets unwatchable. I don’t think there’s a way to fix that on IbisPaint TwT but I hope this will give you an idea of what my process looks like anyway !

Benji would have curly hair if it was long. Even as a little boy, he’d have it curly if it was allowed to grow out. That’s probably how Mordecai knows it’s time to cut it in the main headcanon; when it starts to curl up.
