What exactly will be the new protag’s job? Like, we can’t really believe Varric would recruit a random person to fight SOLAS. Not face-to-face, that would be suicide.
Maybe the new game will be less about facing Solas and more about trying to destroy his network? Kill his spies and all of that? I can see a new protagonist working, in that case.
This could be just wishful thinking, of course. Still, I would rather keep believing on another encounter between Solas and the Inquisitor (romanced or not, it’s a better narrative to have the ACTUAL battle against Solas be with the Inquisitor).
God, a new protagonist being the one to untimately fight Solas would be so fucking lame lmao.
