Also wanted to make another post other than my everyday reposts that I might be a bit older but I just realized where I’ve seen Xavier from. He’s literally from Degrassi: next class ancient memory but I forgot how much I liked his character in that and now in school spirits. Also didn’t know that the actors in Degrassi: next class were actual teens like he was 17-18 and a couple others were as young too just crazy they actually got real kids. But yeah totally forgot about that show and he just looked so familiar.

simon is probably one of my favorite characters in all of school spirits because I love love when someone is the embodiment of the most loyal, most rabid cat imaginable. he’s ready to go after anyone and everyone for maddie, just say the word. maddie’s like ‘idk if this person could have done anything to kill me :/’ meanwhile simon is already breaking into their house and smothering them in their sleep for being mean to maddie one time three years ago. good for him.

Absolutely there is some underlying feelings but overall seems very platonic and we need more of that in media

personally Maddie and Simon are one of the best friendships (between a man and a woman) I’ve seen on screen
