I've seen "I don't know how to play with toys anymore" a few times lately and just wanted to point out-

Playing with toys looks different for everyone, even actual children!

Playing with toys can look like: 🧸🪁🚂

Taking pictures of your toys and writing captions for them

Brushing or grooming soft toys or toys with rooted hair

Ordering or sorting your toys by colour/species etc

Making up stories, poems or comics about your toys

Dressing or accessorising your toys

Imagining your toys talking to you or each other, forming opinions of their own, etc

Drawing your toys

Taking your toys for a walk outside, even in a backpack or pocket if you don't want to carry them openly

Making lists of the toys you have and where you got them etc

Feel free to add your own ideas

Summer Agere Activities 🐚

- playing in the sand at the beach (sand castles, digging holes)

- long walks in the woods or by the water

- making lemonade (maybe a lemonade stand)

- eating popsicles (or try making some!)

- make flower + grass crowns

- staying up late to look at the stars

- bringing stuffies to an amusement park or fair

- visiting the zoo, aquarium or museum

- planting / gardening (alone or with help of cg)

- try biking or rollerskating 

- chalk drawing on the sidewalk

- find cool rocks and paint them

- go to a farm for produce picking (fruits or veggies!)

- visit a farmers market

- pack a picnic basket and go to your favourite park

- try climbing a tree (but be careful!)

 if you have a backyard :

- DIY a birdfeeder and watch the birdies

- set up an obstacle course

- go camping (overnight if its warm enough)

- have a backyard picnic

I haven't regressed in so long and you can tell by my lack of posts but I just feel so yuck and I feel myself slipping and I don't like it , I feel so whiny and my kid brain is just really really sad :(

Gingerbread House!

Hey all! Today I made this gingerbread house!

I know it's not perfect, and it certainly doesn't look like the box, but that's what's fun about it!

The lesson is that it's not perfect but it's mine! I put my hard work into this and made something that I'm happy with!

No matter what you celebrate, make something! Craft whatever your little heart wants!

Also, if you do end up making a gingerbread house, tag me in a post! I'd love to see all your wonderful creations!

The holidays are a wonderful time of year to spend time with those you love, (including your fuzzy friends! Animals and plushes alike!)
