This was the first doodle through the exercise where you can only use 3 markers, and they have to all be different colors/shades. I, being boring, chose the 3 primary colors. The idea was that you’d assign each of the colors as the light, medium, and dark tones, and then draw as you normally would. The idea comes through a lot more in grayscale.
I got distracted before I finished drawing the face, but when I got back to it I kind of liked the idea of someone having stolen her face. So now it’s just this. :P

She wasn’t supposed to look so aggressive... This (along with the other one) was part of an exercise to draw using only 2 or 3 very bright/contrasted markers.

This is of the Providence River around sunset (from the bridge next to Memorial Park), which is about a 5 minute walk from my school.

How to doodlespace...
Most of these things are old stuffs that I found/finally got to scanning. They may or may not be kind of weird.
As I’ve mentioned I don’t know how people normally do this, but for the moment I’m just gonna start winging it/uploading randomly...
I’ll try to include the medium and the date (if I remember) of doodles, as well as maybe the idea behind it.

Meeep.
A friend of mine suggested Tumblr as an art blog/doodle space (as opposed to Wordpress or Blogger) and so I thought I’d give it a try. Disclaimer: I am very new to this blogging business and really was just looking for a space to organize things electronically. We’ll see how this goes!
P.S. I don’t actually art properly. I just like doodling. :P
