My question is how does he keep the ink under his skin? Like that his healing factor would destroy the ink before it even sets also what about the scabbing like doesn't a tattoo need to scab before it's sets?

daken has lost his left arm at least twice recently to what im reading (in wolverines and now in all-new wolverine). plus however many times hes had his skin burned off, or whatever else. so yeah. i think his tattoo artist is both well paid and incredibly confused why he keeps coming back to get the same tattoo on a miraculously no-longer-inked arm 😂

It actually has helped me op with rationalising my issues in a healthy manner so i can actually assign a method. I now understand what feeling are big feeling from what feeling are small feelings.

I'm actually looking into dbt which is both a sister and a companion to cbt with can help better (from what I heard).

Look into dbt because it's the one that is used for ptsd ocd and bpd ❤️❤️❤️

Please, has CBT/therapy actually been useful for anyone with anxiety? I’m so tired. I’m stressed over the SMALLEST things. I can’t function. I need to make a call for something that’s been dragging on for months and could get worse if it’s not fixed asap. I need to look over some of my work for something I submitted. I need to find an internship. I need to reply to my friends’ texts. I need to go to medical appointments. AND IT ALL STRESSES ME OUT!! AND THEY ARE STRESSFUL THINGS THAT EVERYONE CAN STRUGGLE WITH BUT I CAN’T FUNCTION!!!! I get petrified, my stomach in knots, and I know that nothing bad can really happen, it’s all in my head, but nothing makes the stress go away. Breathing techniques can calm me down physically but they don’t make the mental stress go away. I don’t know what to do. It’s unbearable. I really want help. I go to therapy but no progress has really been made in that regard when it’s one of the main things I go there for

Did i die? no, I did not. However, I have been busy with life, and have been unable to post any finished art pieces for a long time, for I have had none. It's been all sketches and I am not fully comfortable posting them. That being said, I am starting to finish them….. So meet Metron! My new blorbo! I did make my own take on his look so it's not comic accurate, that being said I did use his comic variants as inspo to create my own. This version has the motherbox and the one without will be below so you can see his face better.

No wait how did I not see this before omg. New brilliant idea. What if Fastbak takes an interest in Heartbeat. Like, its a passing thing, not going to go anywhere beyond friendship, but like he hears theres someone new so thats fun. And then hes like oh its someone cute! And then he finds out through the rumor mill shes supposed to have speed powers so hes like 👀👀👀 dying to meet her.

But then when he does she kind of feels sensitive and sort of inadequate bc she doesnt know how to use her powers and is doubting if she even has them at all. They have some heart to heart talks about it, she explains sometimes the speed sight thing kicks in. And hes like omg i totally get you. I actually understand that feeling of inadequacy and trying to compensate and wanting to be good enough and working at it and working at it and working at it.

And hes like ill help you! And so he tinkers for a bit and comes back with some little speedy shoes like his to try out and its kind of a disaster but it also kind of works a little bit? Like in the process even tho she totally wipes out, her speed sight does kick in and she cant necessarily move as fast as she can perceive, but she can move some, like as much as any normal person going however fast Fastbak has tuned these stupid shoes to for what he thinks a beginner would be okay with (read: way too fast still).

Um and it can go from there and their friendship grows. I think Metron probably disapproves but he isnt like out there forbidding her from interacting with people like a wicked stepmom or anything. He more judges Fastbak for not applying himself more and wasting his scientific mind.

So long story short, Heartbeat and Fastbak have stuff in common and should be friends. The end.
