DAY 2- LIFE/ANTI-LIFE

@fourthworldweek fan event

You know I had to draw the New God of Tyranny for this one but I also wanted to personify the anti- life so I was going for a death/ Grim Reaper type being.

So, I don't think I mentioned that I am using this fan event as a means of assessing where I am with my art both traditionally and digitally and I don't think I could be any prouder of myself tbh.

this was my first time painting over my sketch without line art so this was a new challenge even for me but I think I love this style a lot and will keep in going at this till I get it.

Maybe not as old as Highfather but he's certainly not a young god. So what is he? Middle aged? Older? What's the mood here fellas?

In earth years

Metron- mid 50s (like in my head he's middle aged) like he gives off boomer generation.

Orion- late 30s early 40s

Scott and lightray- mid 30s

Barda- early 30s

Plus, this is also inspired by his appearance in the newest New Gods where there is a line alluding to him.

Fourth World Week 2025 day 1 freedom

A Jack Kirby Fourth World fanfiction for @fourthworldweek event Fourth World Week day 1 freedom.

On a forest on Earth, nature was going on until a portal open with a loud boom and many forest creatures flee in terror as a black hair man fall out of the portal and, just as the portal close behind him, the man said to himself, "I did it! I has escaped Apokolips!" As the man head outside the forest, he remember his name is Scott Free, having given his last name by himself to symbol his wish to escape the nightmare world that is Apokolips and its dark master Darksield. Now, Scott will begins a new life on Earth and he will have the freedom to make the choices for it.

ive already blocked one of them as we speak.

i hate seeing snyder fans hate on corensupes and krypto.

because for one, henry cavill’s superman would gladly dogsit krypto if corensupes asked him to btw.

secondly, half of the arguments i’ve seen don’t even make any sense.

“the suit is ugly” that’s entirely subjective and that’s not even a argument or critique, and despite the lines, it’s literally the most comic accurate suit we’ve had since superman ‘78.

“it’s too colorful and playful” …this is literally a movie about a alien that crash landed in kansas and was raised by the nicest humans ever, and also wears his fucking BABY BLANKET as a CAPE to save people purely because he wants to. shut up.

“he’s too weak/whiny” if you’re referring to krypto hurting him, one - krypto is a alien dog, so he has crazy powers, two - superman is already badly injured so anything strong would probably hurt him at that state. and if you’re referring to the sun “hurting” him, please imagine if you had several broken bones and they were ALL HEALED/REBUILT IN THE MATTER OF SECONDS. yeah, that’s gonna hurt.

overall, the cgi looks AMAZING, me and every other superman fan is happy.
