there was this cute comic with idea of gon knowing bits of different languages since he grew up in port. it got me thinking.
when they're older, gon is aware of his feelings and compliments killua, but talks on different language bc he doesn't know how killua feel and more careful with expressing his feelings. when killua ask what it means, he still giving a compliment, but less romantic than what he actually said. like saying it means "killua is cool" or "killua is amazing" when actually it was "killua's eyes like an ocean" or something like this
bonus later killua hear very similar phrase at some romance show mito watching and get suspicious about the meaning. but what he think of it, gon pranked him
