Hihi! I saw other people also in the comments asking for this, and I just wanted to pop this out there in case anyone hasn’t seen it:
youtube
This video (I did not make it) has a mini kpop playlist, an idol (sorry I am unfamiliar with who! I’m not very versed in kpop) reading a short story, and some other cute stuff. I have watched it and it is safe for me personally but every one is different :3 if you all have seen it my apologies, I just stumbled across it and thought I may share! 💜
i 100% know this is like,,, a survival response or whatever but man would it be night to have a show where idols with nice calm voices read a bedtime story,,, its hard to fall asleep when nobody is around and awake for me so having someone my brain trusts pretend like they were helping people get to sleep would help a lot of people i think :)

Little Ways to Make Selfcare Easier for Littles
🍼 Be little! 🍼
Little you may be more motivated to do certain tasks than big you. If you put yourself in little space and make self care appealing to little you, you might be surprised by the results.
You can:
♡ Use a paci while you shower/bathe 🚿
♡ Take a bubble bath 🛁
(Just be careful if you have body parts that put you at risk for getting a yeast infection! Ph ballanced bubble bath exists, so use it if you can!)
♡ Use bath toys 🛁🐳
♡ Use baby lotion 🧴👶
♡ Use kid’s shampoo, soap, etc. 🧼🧒
♡ Use kid’s toothpaste and toothbrushes 😬
♡ Use small or cute hairbrushes 💇♀️
♡ Take a comfort object with you to sleep 🧸
♡ Take ALL OF THE comfort objects with you to sleep! 🧸🐰🐵
♡ Listen to a lullaby or a bedtime story on youtube, or have your carer or a friend sing/read you one 🎶 🛏📖🎶
💙 Keep calm. 💙
Anxiety and intrusive thoughts can be a nightmare when trying to sleep, shower, or bathe. Keeping yourself calm and comfortable can be the key to getting your bed thoughts to leave you alone while you take care of yourself.
💜 Be little. 🍼
Ok, so already mentioned, but it’s worth saying again. Regression is comforting; regression is calming. There’s no shame in going to your little space in order to care for yourself.
🍼 Calm your senses. 💙
Use farmiliar sounds and smells to help you relax. Lavender, vanilla, and cinnamon, soft or slow music, and familiar podcasts, shows, and movies, can help you keep calm. You can:
♡ Use a difuser with essencial oils at night or while spending a lot of time in one place
♡ Use a scented candle
(big space only, and make sure you’re supervising it!)
♡ Use a shower steamer or scented bath bomb/bubble bath
(remember to get ph ballanced bubble bath/bath bombs if you’re at risk for yeast infections!)
♡ Use scented soaps, shampoos, lotions, ect.
♡ Play background music/noise while doing tasks
🥊 Fight forgetfullness! 🥊
💜 Make a selfcare schedule! 📆
Scedule times when you have to take medication, eat, shower, anything you have trouble doing. Then stick to it!
🍼 Have someone remind you! 💬
Show your selfcare schedule to someone you trust, your cg, a friend, a partner, and have them remind you when the time comes!
 Remind yourself! 🔔
Set alarms to remind yourself to follow your self care schedule.
🍼 Get a pill box! 💊
If you take medication, you probably know the struggle of trying to remember whether or not you took your meds.
Illiminate that doubt by getting a pill box and filling it up once a week. If the meds are still in the compartment, it means you haven’t taken them yet.
Remember to get one that specifies the day/time you need to take your meds! If you take them twice a day, you’ll need two sections for each day. Make sure you get a box that fits your needs!
💞 Combine them! 💞
Combine your new-found selfcare skills to make them even better!
You can:
♡ Use kids’ and babys’ products with comforting smells
♡ Listen to kids’ shows, movies, or songs
♡ Make a sticker chart for your selfcare schedule
♡ Customize alarms for little you
You can make them say things like, “Time for bed now, little one,” or, “Remember to brush your teeth, Princess!”
♡ Decorate your pill box while in little space or with your little self in mind
Do you have any more selfcare tips for littles? Feel free to add on!

🧸 Sick Day Activities for Tinies
🩹 If possible, either drink or mix Powerade with water and put it into a super cool cup! It’s like a potion! And it’ll stop you from getting super dehydrated!
🩹 Have a movie night! You can binge watch your favourite movie franchise alll night long! You could even eat some snack foods.
🩹 Build a pillow fort, if you’re not too tired, piling all your favourite bedding and stuffies is a great way to feel cosy and safe when sick!
🩹 Have a little snack! Even if it’s something super simple and gentle on your stomach like some toast, crackers, or some non-citrus fruits.
🧸 Colouring! When you’re sick, rest is super duper important, you could relax and draw a really pretty picture!
🧸 Have a bubble bath!! Being all sweaty isn’t a fun feeling when sick, so having fun in some bubbles can make you feel heaps better!
🧸 Play with your toys!! Relaxing toys that aren’t too much physical work are great for when sick. Legos, blocks, puzzles, puppets)
🧸 Play some games! If you don’t have a headache, playing some fun games on your phone, console, computer or switch can be a super fun way to pass the time!

Headache Help
゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚
Headaches are no good and make everything feel icky! So, here are some steps to help you feel better!
゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚
1) Drink lots of liquids! Put water, juice, tea, or something into your sippy cup to help keep yourself hydrated!
゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚
2) Try rubbing your head to relieve tension! Sometimes it’s helpful to have someone else rub your scalp, shoulders, and neck as well!
゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚
3) Try to avoid gritting your teeth. If you’re struggling with that, I suggest using a Pacci or in more serious cases, a mouth guard. Using one of those at night can help reduce morning headaches as well!
゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚
4) Ginger can help with headaches! It’s weird, but it can! So, drinking/eating something with ginger in it.
゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚
6) Caffeine can help, but be careful with this one because too much can give you a headache too! If you have a CG, you might ask them to help you with keeping an eye on it!
゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚
7) Where does it hurt? The answer can tell you what kind of headache you’re having!
You can use the chart above to help you figure it out
゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚
Depending on the headache, there are more specific tricks that can help you feel better!
Migraines: put something cold (ice-pack, cool cloth, a bag of frozen veggies, etc) over your forehead and on the back of your neck. Do this for about 15 minutes, then take a break.
Tension Headache: Place a heating pad or warm compress on the back of your neck or head, if you start to feel uncomfy take a break from it!
Sinus Headache: Press a warm cloth where it hurts or try a warm shower.
゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚
8) If the pain is really bad, it’s time to get comfy. Lay down in a dimly lit, quiet room with your favorite plushie. Switch between an ice-pack and a warm compress to help relieve tension and just do your best to get some rest.
゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚
9) You can use meds, but try not to use them too often. If you’re relying on them constantly that means it’s time to go see a doctor!
゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚
10) Know that you’re doing a great job and that I’m super proud of you!
゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚━☆゚.*・。゚
Feel better soon!

🌙Ways to help your little one with insomnia/troubles sleeping🌙
having insomnia/sleep problems can be exhausting! a lot of littles experience these! :( and here are some tips for cg’s, babysitters etc on how to help them!
🌌 put on some soothing music or relaxing sounds! e.g. lullabies, rain/nature sounds… whatever your little one might like!
🌌 turn on a nightlight! some littles need a tiny source of light to help them go to sleep!
🌌 make them something warm to eat/drink before bed! something nice to keep their tummy nice and warm all night! e.g. soup, warm milk (if making angel milk or any other little space milk recipe - you might not wanna add too much sugar ^^’ that might just prevent your little from going to sleep)
🌌 put on a little show! something not too loud, something soothing like Care Bears, bluey, my little pony etc!
🌌 bedtime stories!
🌌 cuddling them! just snuggling your little one can help them fall asleep since they feel safe and secure with you by their side
🌌 talking to them! some little ones might find it comforting, if you talk to them or send them voice messages before bed!
🌌 no light at all! remember how i said that it’s good for some littles if you turn their nightlight on? well for some (including me) it’s the complete opposite! some littles are having troubles falling asleep with any source of light… make sure to give them their stuffie though, so they’re not scared!
okie that’s all i can think of! ^^ … the fact that i’m making this at night, not being able to fall asleep-
make sure to get your rest! <3 bye bye

subtle ways to feel tiny 24/7
attach charms to your keychain, carry around a smaller backpack, listen to nostalgic SFW music, play with fidget toys and chewables, cut your food up into fun shapes, wear overalls or rompers, look at kidcore or childhood blogs, color with crayons or markers, have tons of patterned socks, put at least one plush on your bed, cover your water bottle in stickers, drink juice with one of your meals, style your hair with funky clips, enjoy wholesome video games, sleep in long fuzzy animal onesies, buy yourself a fuzzy blanket, use pins all over your backpack, watch disney / studio ghibli movies, have a nightlight for your bedroom, try to not use bad language and be kind and caring to others!

🎀🧁 little rules and chores to give yourself when you don’t have/want a caregiver! 🧁🎀
- firstly, make a sticker chart for yourself! every time you follow a rule or complete a chore, give yourself a sticker! and be honest! give yourself a big reward at the end of the week, like a toy from the store!
- no swearing! every time you swear, mark it down in a journal and reflect on that at the end of the week. did you swear too much? think about how you can do better next week. did you not swear at all? reward yourself!
- set a “clean up alarm” on your phone! ideally this would be about an hour before your bedtime. when it goes off, it’s time to put everything away!
- set your bedtime alarm! when the alarm goes off, it’s lights out! make sure you’re getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep! for instance, my bedtime alarm is at 10:30 on weekdays, and i wake up at 6 for work! no screens during bedtime unless it’s to help you sleep.
- portion your food properly! make sure it’s the proper, healthy amount! nothing to little or too much. i have a binge eating problem, so this rule greatly helps me portion better!
- put your dishes in the sink when you’re done, throw away your garbage, and recycle your plastics and cans!
- do the dishes, if you’re able! put on your favorite song and sing along to it while you clean your dishes to make it go by faster. and make it more fun!
- don’t be rude or a meanie! practice kindness with your toys or stuffies if you struggle with attitude problems. there’s no shame in having an attitude problem, i struggle with it sometimes too! practicing manners can really help.
- do some worksheets! there’s so many you can find on tumblr using the agere classroom tag! download them (or print them out) and get to work! set a goal for yourself, and reward accordingly. (ex: 3 completed worksheets = 1 sticker on your chart)
- do something active at least once a day, if you are able! go for a walk, go swimming, play a sport, do yoga, play an active video game like wii sports or just dance, do jumping jacks, etc! if you can’t, that’s okay! i’m physically disabled and can’t be active for long periods of time, so i get it!
- limit your screen and social media time! when your screen time is up, go play with your toys instead!
- if you have a job or go to school, reward yourself for doing well! if you accomplished a lot of work, give yourself a sticker. if you didn’t, give yourself a sticker anyway for trying your hardest!
- read something once a day! if you’re a baby/toddler, read one picture book a day. if you’re a kiddo/middle, read one chapter of your favorite book a day!
- try to do something educational at least once a day! google facts about your favorite animal and write it down, play math games online, watch an educational children’s show, etc!
