Finding a Perfect Match for Janet Liang : Her Personal Plea 25-year-old Janet Liang posted this powerfully emotional video as she searches for a bone marrow donor match in her battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). She doesn’t have much time left. You could be her match. She has until April to find a match. It’s tough to watch the video, but hopefully it will encourage people to become a bone marrow donor. Happy 2012 everyone~ Watching the ball drop, I realized - "Wow, these are the final seconds of 2011." What a wonderful year; New job, new chapter in my life (with XXXXX) and stronger friendships with cherished friends.) My focus for 2012 is to grow further in my career and to spend more time with loved ones.
So I guess I'm not a "cherished friend" since you've been ignoring my fb and text messages since April?? We've known each other since elementary school.... This truly feels like a stab through my heart.... ;_;

Ten Years Later: A Tribute 9/11 My favorite 9/11 tribute in New York City can be found in Bryant Park. 2,819 empty chairs are set up on the lawn facing the site where the World Trade Center once stood, one chair for every life lost. The number of empty chairs captures the enormity of the lives lost and the stark emptiness of it just drives home the point that I hope is never forgotten. 2,819 people were here one moment and gone the next. 2,819 went to work or boarded a plane one morning ten years ago thinking it would be another ordinary day and they never came home.
