Not sure if that’s the game actually being coded that way, but Monika actually meaning it. But… maybe she actually means it? He’s playing around with his own hair and fixing the ribbon as well, with a slight blush.

“Ahaha… T-Thanks. But… pretty sure I’ll get found out… even if I spent lots of time on make-up.”

Monika’s right though. While not completely accurate, he can easily pass off as a REALLY good Monika cosplayer, and it helps that their heights are almost the same too, so it’s kind of like Monika herself… in appearance, anyway. He has no idea how her voice sounds like. 

Anyways, right, back to writing.

And he’s going to mimic Monika’s posture and putting his fingers on the face too, just watching, YUP

This boy seemed awfully lacking in self-confidence...But that was a problem for another time. Right now, in Monika’s mind, there are much more pressing matters to attend to. Such as, for example, why she’s able to see and communicate with this player. It was as she said, like looking through a window...and windows are meant to open, right?

It wasn’t a jumpscare so much as the entire screen bugging and flickering- only for the screen to turn to white noise.

Okay, maybe it was a jumpscare after all, as a hand began reaching out of the screen!

The scare-factor would likely not last too long, as rather than some scary poltergeist or a demon child, it was..well, either the most amazing Monika cosplayer ever seen, or Monika herself sliding out of the screen.

Face-first onto the floor, of course.

Eri just thought it was an update to the game. Fair enough, she supposed.

“Well, its still pretty good! Cosplay isn’t about looking perfect, after all, its about dressing up and having fun. Like Halloween!”

There was a short pause. To Eri, Monika’s expression changed a few times. She looked thoughtful.

“AI...I don’t know what this is, honestly. You sure look unexpectedly clear for using a PC camera, if you have one! Its like looking through a window!” Seemed there wasn’t much in the way of voice work, yet, as this all appeared in text boxes.

“I’d like to try something. May I? It’ll only take a second...”

Ah, Eri’s going to quickly lean in through the screen, even rub his eyes a bit to see what’s on screen. Monika… w-wait, was Monika tracking his movements or something? He’s even raising his hands a bit…-

Maybe it’s some kind of interactive new update?

He’s going to click on this new ‘Dialogue Box’ option in-game, not sure if the game could pick up his mic or not.

Well...She definitely agreed with that! She knew from experience, after all. "I just wouldn't want people to worry about me..." That was all she'd say on that matter-

Right back came the smile.

“Oh wow, you’re skilled with cooking too? I’m able to make a good bento for Misha since she’s… not the greatest at cooking! Ehehe…” Misha is absolutely horrible at cooking, actually.

A girl that’s a little shorter than Misha is here! She’s also a demon but angels hardly even notice it from her, thanks to her, being a lot more nicer than the usual demon.

“I’m amazed that you can be such a good leader for an entire club… I don’t think I would have the ability to do that… I would be too worried of doing something wrong…” She’d say.

Monika is still amazed these girls can be so cute. They're really giving Natsuki a run for her money.

"Ahaha...Honestly, I'm not always the best at leading the club. It can be really hard work! I'm good at giving instructions, but when it comes to keeping everything from falling apart...That's Vice President Sayori's job."

“Tehihihi… I’m sorry, I’m not very good at being uhh… quiet? Calm? That kind of thing where people keep to themselves and not be so bouncy around people’su...” She would say.

“What are you a fan of though’su? Like, what do you like doing in your day’su?”

"A-Ah...Um...I-Its okay. Sayori always acts bouncy around us, so I'm used to it. Its good to have a little brightness in life..." Especially when you consider the kinds of things Yuri's into.

"Well I like..all sorts of kinds of books. I read a lot. My favorites are horror, or mysteries, anything thought-provoking or psychological. Its all very interesting to me...Ah, I also write a lot of poetry in my spare time, even before the literature club." She's gotten better at not rambling! She'll hold off on mentioning her knife collection, too-

That makes two strange little girls in the club today- but they were so damn cute Natsuki couldn't even be confused. Except maybe about the cupcakes thing.

"A name..? I never thought of that...What do you think I should call them?"

It did indeed! The game opened right up on its own, and to the space room no less. Weird, but easily played off. Perhaps he accidentally opened it or something.

Her stare was extra-piercing today. She always seemed to be staying beyond the screen, but this time it felt extra off. Her eyes..seemed to be following his movements, watching him.

A dialogue box appeared.

"Is that...me? What's going on?"

“Are you usually that much of a poem lover’su?” Misha, the angel in training, that no one knows is an angel, and looks like someone that hasn’t made it to high school yet, asks Monika.

Why is she here? I dunno, I thought it would be fun to throw her at Monika instead of throwing my Natsuki at her.

She looked down at the angel for a moment, in confusion. Had she seen her before? She didn't think so...But its fine.

"Well, yes! Poetry is a wonderful way to express all kinds of feelings, after all. Easy to learn, too!"
