Indefinite Hiatus

I guess it's time to announce it officially: the blog is on indefinite hiatus until I decide to give writing another chance. The blog stays online for those who want to read whatever has already been shared here, but no new posts will be made in the mean time. A lot of things have been getting to me personally, and I simply am unable to juggle everything all at the same time. I apologize for running away like this, but other matters take priority. Thank you very much for the support the readers have shown these past few months, and I do apologize to those who have sent requests in that have yet to be answered. Running this blog for even a short while has been a fun experience for me, and maybe when I return someday, I'd have learned more so that better content can be shared. Until then!

I'm still alive. Barely.

So like, I’ve failed you guys once again. It’s already March, and things aren’t done. Work has been heavier than expected since the first quarter of the year is one of the most important (next to it being the last quarter since it includes the end-of-year stuff), so I’ve been working daily until 8PM~10PM, getting home an hour and a half later and leaving me with less than 5 hours of sleep. It’s been increasingly difficult to wake up on time, too, and on top of that, I've been plagued with a cold (or allergies, I can't tell anymore) for the past week or two, but maybe all of these just sound like excuses. Welp. Bottom line is, I. Am. Freakin’. Exhausted.

The things I’ve scheduled to do for March will obviously be delayed - answering the remaining requests (8), and the revamp of that thing. As for the White Day mini event I was planning, I don’t think it’s going to happen - not on time, at least. I may just make the post to get requests for those who are interested, but finishing them on time is a long shot.

I’m really upset that things went in this direction, but I’m being transparent with everyone, because while I’ve considered leaving the blog on several occasions, I’ve been reminded that I started this to get better at writing, so I’ll keep at it, especially since I’ve been itching to try writing drabbles and stuff. Once again, I’d also like to thank those who have stayed despite the lack of activity, and those new followers who have taken an interest. I’m happy to say that we are nearing 700 followers, considering the shape the blog’s in. Surely, I’ll have more time to write someday. Heh. Also, pray that I find a new job soon that has a better working schedule, because I swear, my current one will be the death of me.

PS. I’ve got some posts that have been scheduled since a month ago, so don’t be surprised if something that isn’t an answered request pops up. Those are mostly for Saturdays. (´゜艸゜)

- He’d be ecstatic that she’s shorter than him, finding it cute that he needs to look down when he talks to her.- “This is the first time I’ve looked down on someone my age!”- “You aren’t looking that far down!” coughs sound familiar?- He’s finally taller that someone his age, and it also happens to be his girlfriend, so he’ll use the height difference to his advantage. He’d give her the coziest hugs with matching forehead kisses, and notes that she is practically wrapped in him when he does.- Cue red hues spreading like wildfire across his cheeks when she admits that her small(er) self feels safe when he holds her. She’ll giggle at the sight as he struggles to still look cool while maintaining his composure.- Her sass is amusing to him, especially when she fends off unwanted advances from men. He was ready to attack the first time some random guy tried to hit on her, but was surprised at how she drove him off instead. Since then, he’s been confident about her telling flirtatious men off, but is still on guard in case things get out of hand.- The “Envy of the Team” award definitely goes to him. She’d be supportive of the entire team, but her MVP is always her Yuu, and roots the loudest for him during official games - even practice matches. Cue Tanaka having a fit of jealousy and yelling about wanting a girlfriend.- His girlfriend’s cheers ring through his ears and grant him a boost of confidence, especially when the team has a good momentum going, or when their spirits are down. He’s happiest about the fact that everyone agreed to make her an honorary member of the Karasuno Volleyball Club.

Valentine's Day event is CLOSED

Delayed post because I forgot to queue one, and I fell asleep last night when I got home from work. (ㅜДㅜ) I’ve decided not to extend the event in the end since I suddenly got bombarded with stuff I need to close at work and might poof again. I need a new job, m8. Plus, because I queued a meme during the event (that was supposedly scheduled after), I got more asks for it than the event itself, which is fine, really. As previously mentioned, I’m hoping to finish off everything in the ask box by end of February or first of March, and posts will be tagged as usual.

Bedroom:

How does this character sleep? (Position, sleeping habits, bedtime routines)Before he goes to bed, he’d take sponge baths or half baths - anything to get the sweat off him - if he hadn’t already showered at the gym, and would apply lip balm before heading off to bed to keep his lips from cracking.

He’d be sleeping with his back flat on the futon; one arm on his belly, and the other near his pillow where his head rests slightly turned to one side. His legs would be outstretched, but would sometimes bend when he shifts in his sleep.

As far as sleeping habits go, he doesn't have much apart from the occasional shifting, and would often wake up in the same position he had slept in.

What are their pyjamas like?His PJ’s would be whatever he’ll feel comfortable in at the time, and doesn’t necessarily strive to look fashionable even in the confines of his own bedroom. They can be a tank top-and-boxers combination during particularly warm nights, or (mis)matching sweats to keep him from freezing over. On colder nights, he'd wear thick wool socks to keep whatever body heat he had left in him.

What do they dream about usually?On the pleasant spectrum of dreams, they'd be ridiculous ones of milk bread buns playing volleyball, or something good happening to him in general (only to wake up disappointed realizing it was only a dream). However, when he’s stressed or uneasy, he’d be plagued with memories of his screw-ups and short-comings, or scenarios involving his insecurities - the worst of which are of Tobio-chan surpassing him.

How neat/tidy is this character?This isn’t much of a headcanon, but an observed fact. His room is tidy where his belongings are well-kept, as seen in season 1 episode 19. He'd be orderly than most boys his age, but not in a way that borders obsessive compulsive as he has his own sloppy moments.

In terms of appearance, he'd wear his school uniform in the prescribed way: dress shirt buttoned up and neatly tucked, and blazer wrinkle-free - again, more factual than headcanon.

How affectionate is this character?He would be the type who has different levels of affection depending on who is on the receiving end. To his family, he is generally thoughtful and sweet to a certain extent, and is respectful towards his elders. Around close friends, he'd show his fondness for them through casual teasing and can be a tad clingy. To his significant other, his affection comes in the form of pampering and spoiling, and at times physical displays and playful flirting.

Wow. I've heard of Revolutionary Girl Utena [x] [x] before when I was younger, and thought that it was just some magical girl show, but after reading your recommendation, I couldn't help but read a little about it.

The plot itself has heavy themes, and I personally liked the psychological aspects of it. Really not for the faint of heart as stated (RIP me tbh), but it does seem worth watching. It apparently also has a manga, film, and several theatrical productions, so there's more to indulge in if the anime leaves you wanting more.

PS. Kosugi Jurota as the seiyuu of the main antagonist, plus some of my favorites? Ohoho. Sign me up, bruh.

February Announcements!

Yo, yo! I’m back! And by back, I mean I’m going to start writing again. I still have the same rotten work schedule, though. Sigh. A couple of people have really helped me get back up, and I am really grateful to have them around me, so yay!
