"I can’t see the sign," Liriel said, grinning sarcastically. "Think you could make it any bigger?" She rolled a chair over and plopped down next to her sister, playfully grabbing the half-eaten donut from Farraine’s hand, taking a bite before passing it back. "It’s been the longest day... and it’s only noon. Who knew working at a hospital could be this stressful?" she added with a sigh, her tone caught somewhere between exhaustion and disbelief. She sighed as she walked into the pediatric wing at the hospital. It had been a long day for Liriel... She had stayed out way too late last night and only had gotten two hours of sleep because of it. Exhausted was an understatement to how she was feeling. Luckily it was nearing the end of her shift. As she leaned up against the nurse's station, she saw Dr. Fray coming out of one of the patient's rooms. Smiling over at him, she poked him in the shoulder to get his attention. "Dr. Fray," she greeted him. "Did Dr. Mince tell you that we're all planning on meeting up at a bar after work?" Liriel probably shouldn't go out tonight seeing that she barely slept the night before from similar activities but when has no sleep ever stopped her from having a good time? "You in?" she asked. "I would love to see you there." @immcrtalsx

It was a pink full moon last night and Liriel only knew that because she had been out partying all night. She woke up with a severe hangover. She had a killer headache, was exhausted and her body ached all over. She wanted to sleep the day away but Liriel had a shift at the hospital in a couple of hours. After a long, hot shower and a couple of aspirins, Liriel got ready for the day, threw on some shades and headed out onto the streets of Northknot. On her walk to the hospital, she stopped at the coffee shop that was on the route there. She was almost at the front of the line when the guy in front of her turned around and ran into her. Luckily he didn't spill his coffee on her, she was in her favorite Lilo & Stitch scrubs and didn't want them ruined by coffee stains. "Nope, I'm good," she said, shaking her head and looking at the small spill on the ground. "Looks like you just missed me."

Kieran had a duty to check on the rest of his pack following a full moon, but he had a pounding migraine that the full moon did not help with, but instead of wishing he was in a dark, cool room, he was grabbing a coffee, hoping his emergency chronic migraine meds would kick in. Kieran took the coffee with a small smile and turned, bumping into the person behind him, thankfully he didn't spill his coffee on them. "I'm so sorry," he quickly apologized, "I didn't get any on you, did I?"

"Most doctors don't wear their rings when they work, don't ask me how I know the opposite of that," Alina replied. "But, we'll see if he's wearing one tonight."

When Elijah started talking, she leaned in to hear him a little better before sipping her drink. She thought to herself that he was a pretty decent guy to go home with for the night. He seemed harmless and was pretty handsome. "He seems worthy enough," she joked, looking at Natalie. "Welcome to the party, Elijah."

"And I'm Natalie, but everyone knows that. At least I think most everyone does," she said, pointing to herself when the introductions were made. "Yes. Please explain yourself in full detail and maybe you'll be lucky enough to learn about this one if you are deemed worthy enough," the vampire said with a gesture towards the woman beside her.

"Well, I'm Liriel. It's nice to meet you," she said. When the guy came over, he introduced himself as Elijah. She smiled softly at him. But when the woman wrapped her arms around Liriel, she just laughed. "Have a seat, Elijah. We'd like to get to know you more."

"Oh yeah. I know lots of people. Most people in town actually. I'm the self-assigned welcoming committee after all! I make it my business to know everyone," the vampire explained, straightening in her seat as the guy came over. "Yes! I do know you... I can't remember how or what your name is, but I remember your face! Speaking of faces, look at her face. Isn't she so pretty?" Natalie asked, turning to Liriel and wrapping her arms around the young woman. "Her skin is perfection and she has lips Kylie Jenner wishes she could have."
