Woke up on a Friday seven in the morning, had a work thing, ate, went to a music gig at 10 and after to a club around two got home at Saturday at 6:30 in the morning slept for three hours and went out with friends to Nuremburg got back home at ten in the evening I’m so tired I’m gonna sleep so well

-my looking back at 2024 post-

I don’t even know when to start… I can barely remember the beginning of the year but in February I started my now job after quitting at my art gallery one. I think it was a good decision bc now I know how a „real“ office job feels like and while it’s not for me (lmao at least not now) the experience was important! It just feels very kafkaesque after a while without wanting to sound too dramatic. (Also the pay is pretty good lol)

My Grandmother also passed this year which was not surprising considering her state and she was at the palliative care unit at last. My Mother and me were by her side when she died which was intense, I’ve never had seen a human die but I think it also made it easier knowing she was not alone and we could brush her hair and hold her through it. The funeral was also beautiful even though I cried the whole time and it rained. We were her care takers for like 7 years and a lot of work falls away now and it makes things easier especially for my Mother. She’s taking dance classes now and is more relaxed :). I do miss her, especially when I come across something and I think oh I need to ask her about it until realizing that I can’t anymore.

I was in Amsterdam, in Trieste, in Taiwan and Japan (spent my birthday there) and in Strasbourg which I feel really lucky to be able to go. It’s pretty easy & cheap to travel in Europe but Asia was a bigger deal.

I had a falling out with some friends and reconciled again with almost everyone.

I smoked more since it became legal and am not sure if I like it… also I went clubbing more which I love and discovered day drinking lol but do try to keep it healthy

I did my first stick&poke and i deepened some friendships (also messed some of them up)

I finally moved out and live alone now and it’s incredible having my own space. (Also everything costs money but it’s worth it)

I went on my first date and even though it didn’t work out it was still good that I did it.

Started my Bachelor and also realized that I need to really think about what I want to do in the future and with my life bc I feel like I’m just not doing anything substantial.

Holidays are coming up gonna spend it with my parents and eat a lot of good food. There some things w friends coming up too.

There is probably so much that I am forgetting but it’s nice writing it like this down

I still don’t know what I want to do after my Bachelor, still don’t know what I really want at all but it will come anyway so I try not to think too much about it, but also try to take more control and initiative…
