read thyn post about humanities students and man you're so true on that. I wish people here were more open to possible failures in any streams at all and not glorify just certain aspects of a generational stream of thought ik it'll be difficult but good luck kiddo ! Also don't belive it when they tell ya stuff like science people are smarter or shi whatever ( although I'll admit we did that in school just to let ourselves get the load of bad grades off ourselves lol) the system today sends in all the so called "capable" students to take up sciences well it's obvious what'll be left will be sent off to the other streams so it's a brave choice you're making truly to study with interest but I'll tell ya there's enough absolute stopid kids here in sciences too including myself lol. So yea you're a brave kid and good luck you'll do great !
i know right, i dont know why this mentality even exists. the reality is that these engineering students graduate and then they start doing something that is not even closely related to engineering. im not dissing them my question is what's even the point then?
people here dont understand the thing called 'free choice'. i really love my parents cus they have never stopped me from doing the things that i love. but so many students are forced to take science and maths and keep their real passions a 'backup plan'.
whenever i come across someone with mindset, I try my best to change it. sometimes its my own friends who don't understand. one of my friends, she wants to go to a design college and learn graphic design, but she's forced to take science, because apparently her parents say its 'just in case'. this girl, she's not good at science and maths. but she has to do it. and I find that absolutely infuriating.

oh MY GOD
the exam was AMAZINGGGG like im pretty sure ill get above 70 out of 80. imma kill myself if i dont
if there's one subject that i absolutely cannot bear getting bad grades in, it's english. i have been the golden child of all the english teachers i've had since 1st grade. but this year my english teacher, also my class teacher, seems to hate me. i dont even know why.
i am very confident of my answers, but she never gives me more than 75 out of 80. which is really unfair because she literally throws grades at my best friend. im not jealous of her, cus shes just as good as me when it comes to english, but me and my other friend (who's a topper in every subject) are hated by this teacher for some reason. she interacts with everybody in the class except us. idek why. ive just accepted it by this point and when i get less than 75 and i know i can get better grades, i dont fight her anymore or she reduces my marks. like girl what have i done to you???
but anyways yes the exam went really well and i have a 4 day holiday ahead of my before my Social Studies examination. now its just the easy subjects- SST, Hindi, AI. and then AI practicals which i hate but somehow pass in. lets just pray i pass in mathematics. :)

ok so
ive seen people do this and it works for them, so i thought why not?
hi im a girl with a name you've probably never heard in your life, i might have adhd i dont know, and i cant seem to concentrate on studying for the life of it so this is my last resort.
i'm currently in the 10th grade (india) and if you're an indian you know that 10th is hell. we have our board examinations that determine which stream we are going to take.
as you know (and if you dont) in india we have 5 streams after 10th grade- PCM (physics, chemistry, maths), PCB (physics, chemistry, biology), Commerce, Humanities, and PCMB (Physics, chemistry, maths and science). people usually prefer pcm and pcb since it'll get their child into medical and engineering colleges. in india we're really big on engineering and medical. its as if we cant stop producing engineers who have no will to live and doctors who cannot seem to die however much they try. Commerce is for the buisness people, and Humanities is for the 'faliures'. lemme tell you something. right now, this world is overflowing with science stream students who cant find jobs. but do you know who can? humanities and commerce students. but the people here just dont seem to understand that. if you didn't notice by now, im planning to take humanities in the 11th grade. what im going to do next? i dont know. but i sure as hell know im not wasting my time studying subjects im not good at. at least with humanities i can get good grades and get into a good college.
anyways onto the board examinations. boards start on 15th feb, and right now im giving my pre-boards, theyre kind of like practice for boards but a 100 times harder than actual boards.
i have my english preboards tommorrow, and guess what? ive studied only for 5 hours, giving a 3 hour practice paper and the next two hours revising. i'm good at english, so i'll score. but i need to stop this habit of procrastination. that's why im building a blog.
even though nobody reads this, i dont care. i'm gonna mark my progress here, preferably each and every day.
and if someone does read it, please help my hold myself accountable.
i have 35 days left till my first final examination. the countdown starts now
