I just got done packaging the order

I’m so happy! two sales in one month!

I’ll be adding more to my shop soon. I know I’ve made so many promises and have not been coming through on them, I have a full time job now and I wasn’t expecting it to take so much out of me. along with that I’m working on christmas gifts for family and friends. I’m really trying to get back on being consistent here it’s just been really hard to do so with everything going on. I’m starting to come back on my grind though!!

shop launch day really felt like such a success!

I don’t have many followers across any of my platforms so of course it was anti climactic but in terms of what I got done it was a good day.

the three things posted on my shop all had to be photographed aesthetically for instagram to promote (??) and then photographed separately like so

for it to just be the item on display

got my Etsy shop set up and listed those three things

then posted on instagram. I wanted to add captions but ended up not. the next listings will for sure have some fun captions to go with it

then even better, I re-organized my shop binder to be even better than before, I printed cute cards and signed them with my tag, “SYNNER”

I got my new planner set up with weekly and monthly goals as well as analytics and all that boring stuff haha

today was a good day. my weekly goal currently is to finish a scarf I’ve been working on since forever ago and the asymmetrical shawl (if it is big enough to be that. it may have to be something else)

and to get cracking on my old WiPs. I also am working on some stuff I think will be pretty popular. may I just say some… kandi… kidcore… I don’t want to give too much of it away. I like keeping my work somewhat of a surprise after all :) but stay tuned!

y’all I have been so legitimately bad at posting consistently like I told myself I would so I wanted to pop in now and I may be back later too

thought I’d share some more completed projects

I particularly like making hats. I have a friend who likes the devil hat. if y’all like that one I can put it up on my etsy when I launch it. good idea?

but I also do a lot of bags. this type is my favorite. I love making these. so simple and yet so cute

and embroidery as well. this was my first ever big embroidery project

this is one thing that I’m super duper extremely proud of

it’s my first ever fashion project, I made it in October 2020

it’s a laughing jack costume made of drugstore bandages, old clothes I never wore (T-shirt, skirt, choker), two boas and a yard of fabric (that’s what the feathers are attached to) there are other parts of the costume to make it into an entire look but this is the section that I actually handcrafted

when I start working on fashion / textile art again (I have four knitting WIPs and I’m going to finish three embroidery projects because they’re all for my shops) I’m gonna make costumes primarily, I already have a bunch designed and sketched out I just have to make the patterns and then get going with it. those will be a surprise for when they come but for now I just wanted to show off that laughing jack piece since it is really something I love

what’s up y’all

I’m making this account as my personal blog for crafting stuff

but also as a way to keep updated on my two shops

my first shop is my etsy shop launching on August First, and it will be under the name LinSynner just like this account

the other will be on instagram, also linsynner, but my instagram shop will have 100% of the proceeds going to various charities and causes. each post will have a description of what that is and a link directly to it in case you’d rather donate that way

a post about how it will work will be going up on August First (on the story highlights) along with the first item up for sale (traditional post)
