We recommend the Linksys e2500 users place the antennas up high. Place the antennas at 45 degrees diagonally or 0 degrees in straight out parallel to the floor directions. It will become more effective. Since antennas transmit low frequency from the base, do not place your wireless client device at the bottom of your WIFI extender.
