It's really annoying still having to visit the job center despite being employed, because they really don't understand how agency work works, and will keep repeating "Has the agency got you a job yet?".

No they haven't got me a job yet, because they are my job, they employ me and send me on assignments, unfortunately that doesn't pay enough so I have to sign up to Universal Credit just to survive. They don't seem to actually care about that, and keep trying to push me onto other jobs that will cause me to be fired instead, which annoyingly is mainly warehouses, which I did try, and ended up with a full blown panic attack and fired, effectively blacklisting me.

I wonder how many times I'll have to say, "I am a supply TA, waiting for my next assignment, no I can not do that warehouse job, as I will end up being fired" for them to understand. I've even shown them my agency contract. Despite this, they seem to be under the impression it's more like the agencies they send you to that send you to employers, instead of an employer that sends you on assignments.

Or perhaps they just don't care...

Today, in Geography, we were teaching about the Oceans. And we asked the class,

"What are the names of all 5 of the Oceans?"

One boy was very eager to answer, he said,

"Antarctic, Atlantic, Pacific, Southern and Billy."

It was very difficult not to laugh.
