Why is this the scene I imagined

I don't remember most of my dream but I do remember that at one point I discovered that if I die I respawn at my last auto save (which was a few seconds prior)

So immediately I took this as "I can do whatever I want" like any fool does. And immediately began my villain arc. I took over a mall and when someone tried to stop me I threatened to peel them.
