Alright, folks I love it here, but for the sake of my sanity and the season and to remove temptation I'm not going to be around. I'll check messages on occassion and I'm staying on twitter. But the algorithm knows too much. 🫡🫰🖤

“Revolutionaries didn't choose armed struggle as the best path, it's the path the oppressors imposed on the people. And so the people only have two choices: to suffer, or to fight."

appalachia is devastated. towns i loved, towns i visited all the time, are gone. not damaged, GONE. they are leveled to the ground. there is nothing left but rubble and ruin. people are dead. appalachia is poor to begin with and relies on tourism for a lot of its income, and multiple of those tourist locations are just...gone.
my town is okay, but it's flooded and wrecked. trees are blocking all but one way out of our neighborhood. power lines are hanging limp in the roads. we've been without power for over 24 hours and will continue to be without power for likely another 24+. disabled people and poor people are GOING to die from this. gods save appalachia.

i'm sorry i don't want to be like a contrarian hater but like. part of the whole thing about the gender ternary analysis I put forth (at least for me) is a disavowal of idealist sentimentalities about identity categories and label-worship-quibbles. who gives a shit. it doesn't matter. whoever "gets to" call themselves whatever is an extension of liberal validity-culture frivolity. none of this is relevant to how actual gender power functions. we need to let go of our extremely reactive and defensive attachment to the sanctity of Labels and Terms. we need to understand our Class Position, and while these may be informed by our experiences and understandings gleaned from liberal identitarianism, we must understand that these are not the same, and that only the construction of a legitimately materialist class analysis has the sufficient potential explanatory power to allow us to organize around it.
gender is not something sacred. gender is not something to be protected. gender is a system of brutalization and subjugation, and its contradictions must be understood, accelerated, resolved, dissolved, that we might do away with the entirety of it.
liberal identitarianism is a liberal idealism! it must be smashed and done away with! cast away! we do not need this! we cannot use this! it does nothing but fetter us, does nothing but bind our hands and tongues, lest we should use them to topple the system entirely!
