and if i'm remembering this correctly he gave her his cloak of protection/invisibility (i read the book like years ago so i don't fully remember). he really put himself in danger to rescue her aaaaaa

He went into the court of teeth to save her!!! Y'all know what that means?!?? The High King went into the enemy's territory, somewhere he could be brutally murdered any second! Just for her!

That scene where Jude tells Cardan she loves him and he begs her not to lie to him, because he thinks he’s unlovable? I’m still not over it. He spent all his life trying to get the attention of the people he loves and all they did was torture him so badly that he had to hide behind the mask of a villain. And then comes Jude, the girl he used to hate, because he couldn't stop thinking about and thought he would never have a chance with...and she tells him she loves him with all the flaws he has <3

Just a reminder that Jude was the first person ever to tell Cardan "I love you". And he was so shocked to hear those words, he didn't even believe her at first 😭
