Betty couldn’t help the small smirk that began to pull at the corner of her lips. She was definitely intrigued by the girl in front of her and the antics that surrounded this situation. Her curiosity got the better of her, always, and her frustration was soon left behind. “Swan, right? Cabin 27?”
Lily smirked at the recognition. “Right on, blondie. And you are? I think I’ve seen you with the Hermes kids at the dining pavilion... But I’m ADHD like most of us fucked up Godlings so I could be thinking of some other pretty blonde.” She said playfully, raising her brows and leaning against the wall.

Betty pushed the girl’s finger away from her lips, making a face. “Do I look like a fuckin’ snitch?” She was frustrated, irritated, but her voice was barely audible as if to prove her point. “What the hell did you even do?”
Lily smirked at the other and then paused, taking a second to hear where the people pursuing her were going. They didn’t seem to be close by so she looked back at Betty and began explaining. “I helped them with the painting,” she said, trying her best not to snicker. “Let’s just say... we’re going to be having some Smurfs walking around camp till they get to take a shower.”

Nellie glanced at Leia, her knuckles white on the hilt of her sword. She lowered her blade slowly as the other spoke, her gaze trained on Lily’s expression. Now that she had stopped, she could feel her anger beginning to fade into embarrassment as she registered what she had almost done. Hell, hadn’t she been trying to avoid losing her temper because of this and the eidolon attack?
“Sorry,” she murmured, glancing at Leia again. Lily’s smirk made Nellie want to rush at her again but this time she exhibited restraint, breathing in deeply as she took a couple steps back. She swallowed down her irritation, her wounds beginning to hurt more now that the adrenaline wore off. The tingling in her cut had stopped, but she didn’t pay it any mind.
Leia made sure the two were calm before giving them each a look as if saying ‘I’ll be keeping tabs’ and then walking off. Lily rolled her eyes and sheathed her blade behind her. “You’re a lot of fun to mess with, Tiny... See you around,” she said, in a tone that did not mean good news. She waggled her brows, smirking at her before turning to head out.

The whole thing happened in a flash. One second she had been counting money from her last sale, the next she was on the ground, and before she even had a moment to recover, a brunette was pulling her along. While the daughter of Hermes wasn’t unfamiliar with a good, old-fashioned chase, she wasn’t a fan of ones that she didn’t sign up for. “HEY,” she all but screeched, “where the fuck do you think you’re dragging me off too?!”
Lily didn’t answer, but within a second they were already at the armory and she shoved the girl in before jumping in herself. The daughter of Eris shut the door quickly. “SHH,” she ordered, putting a finger to the blonde’s lips urgently. Then her own curled up, creating a mischievous grin. “I had to, you saw my face.”

Nellie let out a laugh of her own as the other began to attack more fiercely. The sound was a far cry from her typical happy giggle, edging more towards the one the eidolon possessing her had had. “Yes, really. Glad to see that you were holding back for me, though. How sweet.” Nellie didn’t manage to avoid the strike, however, and jumped back as the blade wounded her. It wasn’t deep but given her leg burn she knew she would start to slow down. She felt a strange tingling from the cut but ignored it as she rolled to the side to avoid Lily’s attacks, getting to her feet as she blocked the next strike.
“STOP,” Leia called, halting before them. Though one of her arms were casted, the other came out towards Lily in an attempt to make her back off. The daughter of Psyche looked between the two with a glare.
Lily, definitely not looking forward to hearing her brother get angry at her for injuring his fiancée, took a step back and lowered her blade in annoyance.
“This is not sparring, you two are going to badly hurt each other if this continues. Take a break from training,” she said, making it sound like an order. Even though she wasn’t much older than the two, Leia was still one of the teachers. Not to mention, a mother.
Lily scoffed angrily and rolled her eyes. “Whatever, mom,” she teased and then looked over at Nellie with a mocking, mischievous smirk to intimidate and/or provoke her.

Nellie knew that if she were in her right mind she’d be more wary of what Lily had just said, especially given the fact that she was prone to exploding over the smallest things. Unfortunately, she’d stopped caring. Nellie blocked the strike, nostrils flaring as the blades clashed. She relieved the pressure of the two blades long enough to rush at Lily again. “You’ve pissed off the wrong camper,” she snapped.
“Oh, really?” Lily exhaled, dodging a blow by ducking and then slicing at her partner’s breastplate. She was getting bored without winning. She wanted to put this smaller girl in her place. The daughter of Eris finally lunged with all the rest of her strength, attacking in a merciless frenzy. At this point, the other sparring half bloods had stopped to watch the intense match. One of the instructors, Leia, noticed from the other side of the arena and started to rush over to intervene if she needed.

Lily rolled her eyes dramatically at him. “Trixie’s not going to kill you, because I’m not stupid enough to get hurt. Years on the street don’t teach you ‘nothing, dumbass.” She said with a bit of attitude. “Besides, I’m technically just a bodyguard and I help with the planning so the trades and stuff go smoothly. All the drug stuff bores me, to be honest, I just like the fighting when it happens. Your brother deals with the heavy business stuff.”
“I think you running in a drug ring with my fugitive brother should be mentioned. Just saying, I’d hate for my dear, sweet, adorable sister get hurt in the big and crime world.” Erik laughs. “But seriously, be careful? If you get hurt, Trixie will likely kill me since Kai isn’t here to take the heat and I look enough like him for her to tolerate it. That bitch scares me, and not in the arousing way.”

That laugh didn’t help soothe Nellie’s temper. She stalked forward, breathing in through her nose as she fought to ignore the pain in her leg. Eyes narrowed, she shook her head at the other. “Oh? Well, I guess you won’t mind if I do this then.” She swung at Lily’s middle, not thinking about whether it’d connect with the armor or not, and ground her teeth as she began to press her further back.
Lily let out another short laugh, jumping back from the swing. “Oh, now you’re angry.” She said, highly amused. “Come on, girly, let it out. It only makes me more powerful.” The daughter of Eris reveled in the chaotic energy of it all. She lunged forward again, aiming to strike the same place.

“Oh, yeah, I never told you,” she said, not really interested in elaborating much. “It was through Trixie. I thought it’d be a good money maker.” Lily leaned forward, taking a pillow off the couch and then chucking it at him. “Don’t ever call me adorable again.”
“You’re my adorable little sister, so annoying you is pretty much how we bond, in a way.” Erik shrugs a bit but is still grinning. “We are planning it, but we’ve been kind of busy lately. And since when do you work for Kai? I didn’t even know you even met him.”

anneliesegarrett:
Nellie grew more and more confident - and angry - as the pair sparred. All that she could think of was the fact that she needed to be stronger, in case the eidolon returned. She’d been weak and foolish, and it had nearly cost people their lives. Nellie’s thoughts distracted her long enough for Lily to grab her leg, and she gave a yell at the sensation of burning flesh. Fury rose within her and she brought up her other leg in an attempt to kick Lily in the head, stumbling back as she fought to catch her breath. Her legs threatened to give out, shaking. Her knuckles turned white on the sword. “What the hell?”
Lily felt her head throbbing from the other’s hit but she was more than practiced dealing with pain. In a situation like this, she also felt strengthened by her natural chaotic aura and it helped to dull the pain when she concentrated on that. After wincing and cracking her neck after moving back, Lily began to laugh. “In real life, you use what you got.”

Well, that explained the desire to keep arguing, even if that was a typical instinct that popped up whenever Nellie grew annoyed. The nickname caused her to grit her teeth, yet another thing that served to piss her off. Everything that had happened in the past days had left her with unused energy and frankly? She was a little pissed. Nellie threw up her own sword to block the blade, the metal clashing as her expression darkened. “Not bad,” she mocked, kicking out at Lily’s knees before disconnecting their blades in an attempt to strike the other in the side.
Lily lost a bit of balance for a moment after her knees were struck. She moved back, barely able to find time to block the strike. The sound of the clashing metal echoed in the arena. She grinned and fought like a tornado as they continued sparring. The only sound around them was air, hard breathing and the clashing of swords. Finally, Lily pivoted on the spot and ducked in time to attempt to grab at Nellie’s leg. If she did, the clothing would distort and her skin would burn slightly from the daughter of Eris’ abilities. If it worked, she’d sweep her feet and make her fall.

“I know you can be a sweet person if that little apprentice of yours is any indication.” Erik laughs and makes a face back at her. “Why must the reason I hang out with my favorite delinquent of a sister be because I was kicked out? Maybe I missed being in this cabin, even if I almost died here.”
Lily huffs, looking away at the mention of Bambi, which she might not be able to argue about. “Oh my Gods, go tend to your injured fiancée and don’t annoy me or you’ll ‘almost die here’ twice.” She joked. Lily plopped herself down on the couch, lying down. “Don’t you have weddings to plan and babies to feed or something? You know what I have to help plan? Drug heists for your brother.”

Startled by the comment, Nellie’s eyes narrowed. She already didn’t like the tone that this girl was using. She unsheathed the Celestial Bronze sword. “I’m not, actually, but thanks for the observation,” she said sarcastically before she could bite down the retort. “And it’s Nellie Garrett. Do I get to know who you are before I beat you?”
She grinned at the girl’s cheek, entertained by it. “Lily, daughter of Eris.” She assumed a battle stance and raised her Stygian Iron blade. “So, let’s see what you got, Nells.” Lily lunged forward with speed, attempting to slam the tip of her blade overhead. If she made it, it would touch and maybe cut a shallow line on her opponent’s armor. After all, she wasn't aiming to kill but she was aiming to win.

"What the FUCK,” she muttered, pushing the other off as she sat up again. “Where the hell did you come from?” Lily asked, standing herself up. She’d been running, trying to get to get away from the scene of the crime quickly. Fortunately, the blonde had gotten in the way she didn’t see her in time before crashing into her. She heard yelling in the distance and didn’t think before taking the girl’s wrist and tugging her along as she ran quickly towards the nearest building, the armory. “NEVER MIND, COME ON!”

Nellie had been feeling down since the attack and had been avoiding training, not wanting to dwell on the idea of fighting other campers. The memories were still fresh in her mind from the possession. However, she figured she owed it to herself to at least make an effort to do so, given that she didn’t want to be caught unprepared again. Upon realizing she was partnered with a bored-looking girl, Nellie flashed her a sheepish look. “Uh, hi.” She glanced at the other’s blades and fought the urge to grimace as she brought out her sword. She preferred her staff, but maybe it was time to practice with the blade again. “So, uh, I’m ready when you are.”
“Right so... you look like a newbie.” Lily sheathed one of her blades. They were both thin and light looking, obviously meant to be wielded in pairs. But two pointy edges made it hard for Lily not to lose control and hurt someone. She didn’t want to get a ‘time out’ again. “What’s your name so I know who I’m gonna beat?”

“Shut the fuck up, Darton, you don’t shit,” Lily said, crinkling her eyes and making a face at him. It was a playful jest, one Erik would be more than familiar with at this point. “Remember when mom almost killed you? I don’t think Leia left your side for a sec. What? Did she kick you out for being annoying or because she’s mad at you? Wouldn’t be surprised.”
“Only because I’m somewhat better handling my issues and being around Leia calms me down. Besides, you’re not that much of a bitch. I’ve even seen you be almost nice.”

Lily had apparently not attended enough training sessions lately and Chiron didn’t like her not being busy. If the daughter of Eris wasn’t busy, she was causing trouble. So after begrudgingly deciding to attend a training session in the arena that afternoon, Lily strapped on her casual armor and readied her blades and looked for a partner. One was thrusted upon her before she could call for the really buff, tall and scary looking guy in the corner. It was a small girl. Lily didn’t look pleased as she walked over to Nellie. “’Sup,” she said in a bored tone.
