I’m definitely not a blubbering mess thinking about Jinx believing she’s this actual curse on people’s lives, an actual literal jinx. That if Silco and Isha hadn’t found her then their lives would’ve been so much better. That she ruined their lives. That without her, they would still be alive and all that shit.

Because that’s not true.

She was this bright, colorful splatter of paint that made both of their lives so much better and neither one of them would’ve traded the time they had with her for anything, because they loved her so goddamn much.

Even though she wasn’t Powder to them and only Jinx – she was in a no way a jinx to them or their lives.

Microsoft Office, like many companies in recent months, has slyly turned on an “opt-out” feature that scrapes your Word and Excel documents to train its internal AI systems. This setting is turned on by default, and you have to manually uncheck a box in order to opt out.

GAAAH!! Just found out you were able to keep going with Til’ We Burn Our Skins, I’m so so so so SOOOO happy!!

I’ve been rereading the fic and truly, you portray the trust between them in such a gorgeous manner, you can tell just trough the way Miles and Gwen interact, even if cold at times, that they’re the one the other trusts the most in this world. I cannot tell you how much comfort your writing brings me, I love love love the way they both need to love each other, would love to see,more in depth if Gwen is just scared of the possibility of a cannon event (ergo, her dying) or if its her grief and fear getting the best of her (or both). I wrote this in a comment I left in anotnee fic, but I think that you would like to hear it:

When it comes to the cannon, Gwen is seen as a walking ghost, when other Peters see her, they see their dead love. Gwen is, for so, seen as not meant to be. Miles is also 'not meant to be', as he was bitten in a true accident, and not in a 'destiny' kind of situation. Both Gwen and Miles, I think, share this small burden of sometimes being seen as a strange sight, and I would ADORE if this was explored in any piece, really.

Anyways! Hope you have a very very happy life, and that you continue to share your talents with the world. Would love to hear what you think, would love to hear what you like about Miles and Gwen's dynamic.

Hi 📻 anon 🥰 it's so nice to read from you again!

Yes, i never really gave up on it, it's just that the writer block was so strong i was barely writing anymore. But im getting closer and closer to the end, and I hope to be able to post it on November, maybe even this week (or next one).

You are so sweet, you cant imagine how much i love reading comments like this, especially since it's been a long time since i havent posted anything on AO3. Writing Miles and Gwen being each other life buoy, comfort person, and whatever their context is. This (+ why is Gwen still scared of some things) will be approached in this chapter, because i felt it was important to write about gwen's insecurities and why they're here (even if i somehow showed it a bit with last scene of chapter 7, aka fireworks scene).

For me, Miles and Gwen's dynamic is something I've never seen before in other media : im usually not fan when the characters fall in love so fast because it always feels so rushed, but not here. Their love is so pure, so adorable, and Miles being an emotionally intelligent guy really helps in my opinion. For now (start of ATSV), they're still in their 'i have a crush/im in love' phase, which means they see the other as an ideal version of themselves, which is why I think miles was so taken aback by the end of ATSV, because he wasnt expecting Gwen to do something like this, while it's obvious that she has defects, she's human and just a teenage girl !

In twbos, i wanted to write them in the second phase, the 'i love them' phase, while still being in a pseudo-platonic relationship. They get past each other defects and learn to love the other for what they really are, especially when gwen starts to basically live with him.

And recently, a lot of things changed for me, which slowed me even more. Plus, i SERIOUSLY have to start studying for my exams, but i'll try to post some chapters from diverses stories.
