I passed my Language Arts test today, like I knew I would. Papa taught us English and Math very well. Papa honestly taught us a lot, everything I know. It's time I put it to use, for my own good. LOL

I got such a high score on my test they essentially said I'm college course ready and I might be able to bypass taking entry tests.

That was a dope feeling already. Then the manager from 5 Guys calls me & basically tells me "Sorry for taking so long to reach out. Tell me a bit about yourself," and then at the end of the conversation she offers me a shift lead position. Then she tells me that the store is super slow, probably the slowest store in that district. Which does worry me some, but I think it might be able to work out with me being in school.

I am also worried about the cost of getting to work and I know the Uber's will be quite high. That's probably my main concern is the money for Uber's. I know I can do it; I will just have to prioritize things differently.

I cannot and will not put money on Junior's books anymore. I cannot and will not be buying weed or outside food.

I already paid my phone bill, so that's great. I owe Marcie $150 technically for the rest of my "rent", which is fine. The remainder is mostly for getting to and from work. It's going to average about $30-$50 a day to get to and from work. That's a lot of money.

I'm trying to justify the cost of riding to work with the fact that I'm a "manager" but I think the pay is the same rate as if I was in Chicago. So not much will change other than me spending more money getting to and from work.

I need a car, ASAP.
