I recently purchased a GoPro, and I also travelled back home to the DR. I'm so excited as in only a week I've been able to complete some things in my buckets list; one of them being going to the Murals in Santa Barbara, Colonial Zone. The place is really cool, but if you're a girl, try not to go alone (we could only take pics in two) as theres many catcallers. The place is truly beautiful.

Follow my much talented counter-part and part-time super hero, my cousin: The great graphic illustrator, Gianna Yarull.
Went snorkeling on spring break! I was so scared when we got to the corals that my friend had to lend me his boogie board so I could float above the fishes. I ended up diving into the water and following fishes around and giving them bananas and bread. THEY ARE SO CUUUTE! Can’t wait to go back!

Never thought of the virtue of being alone. Of just retreating onto yourself and knowing you. Fascinating, how things happen, huh? Canon t3i Self-portrait. April 2015.

I never really worried about how I was treated, I guess I just wanted to make up for lost time. The thing is that once time is lost you can't get it back.. No matter how hard you try, you then realize that no matter how much more time you take into fixing something it wont work as long as it doesn't want to be fixed. I haven't had a bad life, maybe a rough childhood, but not really. I could say a life of disappointment is more like it. Being told "you're too this, too that," but it mostly came from one side, not both. While growing up I had a safe space, and opportunity and means; yet those that didn't have the same in my other part of the family took it upon me. Mind you, this was a part that again, only fulfilled me with disappointments and insecurities. I took it upon myself one too many times to mend roads, to make things better. I honestly did, but every time I was just faced with blame, insults or altogether taken advantage by the same people over and over. It sometimes gets to my head and I know this is vague, but a part of me just wants people to be less.. Broken. I try to keep a smile in myself, make your day better, but sometimes it just gets too hard. I guess I'm thankful because I wouldn't be who I am, and I have learned to love myself without the acceptance of other than my mother (because shes a fucking star), but I've also decided to not let people step on me. Never let anyone dim your light. Go do things, shine so bright they will go blind. Canon t3i 180mm Self-portrait February 2015

If you could see that your absence isn't making you grow fonder... That maybe the one you're gonna grow fonder of is.. Me.
