What I've learned
What I have learned through these three well-known men. It is that it takes a team to create what they have. Brains, financial stability, help, and resources. All three of these men have created that. Walt, being the creator of it all, but also Roy for making it happen then Don to have someone to lean on and to trust. All these things are important in a company. I have seen Walt Disney Company evolve from the Disney Brothers' Studios to Walt Disney productions, and then to The Walt Disney Company. Which has created many cartoons, movies, merchandise, and theme parks worldwide even reaching internationally.

Don Tatum
Don Tatum was very important to the Walt Disney Company. He was one of the first presidents of the Walt Disney World company. Also to top that he was one of the first non-Disney family members to be the president of the company. His background before the Walt Disney Company was a lawyer, former radio and television executive. He started at Walt Disney productions first, as a production business manager in 1956. Which then became vice president to president. Which means he stuck with Walt Disney productions, while it changed its name to the Walt Disney Company. He was well known by stockholders for how he handled the corporate annual meetings. He was also great at handling the business side of the Walt Disney Company like Roy which Walt was not. Don Tatum is a huge part of the Walt Disney Company and has helped carry the legacy of it on. Even after Roy died, he still worked with in the companies doing many things. To be the first non-family member to work with in the company shows you what a great leader and person he is.

Roy O. Disney
Roy Disney was a financial genius. Which helped his brother Walt out a lot because without Roy none of Walt’s Dreams would've come true on the financial end. He forsook banking work, which walt never took care of. Roy develops the business and financing plans that made the dreams come true. He even invested out of his own disability pension money for Walt, to help him out because he was family. While having to ask the bank for money, he also had to reassure the bank that production was going well. Other tasks were also to sell proposals to networks to advertise Disney to make money to start it since they didn’t have it. He was the brains behind the creativity. He knew how to run things and keep things going. He was motivated and a great leader in many ways. While continuing his brother legacy and helping create it at the same time. Not many people knew he was the brains behind everything and didn't make himself as known as Walt. He is the one to thank for everything coming true. Especially Disney in Tokyo and Paris. Creating Disney in Tokyo made it reach an international level which helped in many ways.

Walt Disney
Walt Disney was a very creative man. He knew what he wanted and he made it happen. He had great people skills, which people called “soft skills.” He studied people to learn how to motivate them, inspire them and leverage their skills. But he was well known for his talent and his creativity and imagination. Like I had said before he said, “Disneyland would never be completed as long as there was imagination left in the world.” He stuck to that, which is why so many things have been created with endless opportunities to this day. He was passionate about his work, started early and eager to continue. He had a vision created it and knew how to reach his goals. He was a Great role model/leader. He even went so far as to create an art school for his employees, to help develop their skills. Which motivated them to do much more and be creative. He wanted to encourage the best for others to make their dreams come true. Walt Disney was the best leader for the start of something wonderful, also thanks to his brother Roy O Disney for making his dreams come true on the financial end. None of Walt’s dreams would’ve happened if it weren't for his brother Roy

Walt Disney Company
Walt Disney Company was created by Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney on October 16, 1923. The original name started as Disney Brother's studio. Then it became Walt Disney production and finished as “The Walt Disney Company” in 1986. What had started the thought of it all was when Walt Disney created Oswald the lucky rabbit. Creating 26 cartoons but then realized he did not own the rights to Oswald the distributor did. Walt then came up with a new character named Mickey Mouse. He was unable to sell it, though due to it being a silent film. On his third try, he made it have synchronized sound, which was immediately popular with cartoons. While cartoons gain popularity, Disney staff found that merchandising the characters was an additional source of revenue. Like dolls, dishes, toothbrushes, radios, and figurines. Many movies were also created like snow, White and the seven dwarves, Pinocchio in Fantasia, dumbo, and Bambi through the years 1937 to 1942. Then, Disneyland opened July 17, 1955, which open many opportunities up. Walt Disney had said that “Disney land would never be completed as long as there was imagination left in the world.” He had many ideas to continue, he had plans to create Epcot. Which had happened in 1979. Then other productions came from that, like Tokyo, Disney, and Paris. Extending to Tokyo really helped extended Disney out of the U.S. and make it go international. This Organizational has been built up off something so small too reaching almost everyone in the world. Giving many opportunities to others and creating dreams. With diversity and creativity there will always be much more to create, which is why this company is flourishing.
